MacGyver met Ellen in High School where she was the cheerleading team captain. They dated for a while until MacGyver’s commitment fears caused him to break it off.
After High school she went on to art school to expand her artistic aspirations, but only lasted one semester due to her father remarrying a much younger women and spending Ellen’s collages fund on his new wife.
She went on to marry twice after that before meeting her third husband, Ralph Jerico, a successful businessman and owner of Jerico Broadcasting Network.
Jerico was an abusive and violent husband whom Ellen plotted to kill through an elaborate plan which would see MacGyver framed for the murder as revenge for him breaking up with her after high school.
