Newspaper weeds away: Start putting in your plants, work the nutrients in your soil. Wet newspapers put layers around the plants overlapping as you go cover with mulch and forget about weeds. Weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.

Broken Glass: Use a dry cotton ball to pick up little broken glass pieces of glass-the fibers catch ones you can't

Flexible vacuum: To get something out of a heat register or under the fridge add an empty paper towel roll or empty gift wrap roll to your vacuum. It can be bent or flattened to get in narrow openings.

Foggy Windshield: Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard eraser and keep
it in the glove box of your car. When the windows fog, rub with the eraser! Works better than a cloth!

Reopening envelope If you seal an envelope and then realize you forgot to include something inside, just place your sealed envelope in the freezer for an hour or two. Voila! It unseals easily

Goodbye Fruit Flies: To get rid of pesky fruit flies, take a small glass fill it 1/2" with Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 drops of dishwashing liquid, mix well. You will find those flies drawn to the cup and gone forever!

Even better works the liquor of gherkins. Found out when a glass with still some in it was standing around and all of the fruit flies committed suicide Much easier than catching them one by one.

But not as good as the a/c set to cold.

I've heard that if you want to attract mosquitoes - into a trap - to dispose of them... use a banana or some carbon dioxide gas. The mosquitoes think they are humans... evidently, since we exhale the CO2 gas and bananas exhale ethelene gas - both attract them. Buzzzzzzzzzzz

Now THAT one is great!!!

I am an animal lover. But I hate jellyfish and mosquito's. They really can tuin a good summer!

And of course there's slugs and beer.

Never tried picking up broken glass with a cottonball, but a piece of bread does the job nicely.

And provides and interesting snake at the same time.

I knew about the banana trick, tried it myself and it worked...

Will surely keep my board eraser in the car as from today, interesting thing

And am willing to try the envelope one as well...
