I had a lovely day, my best friend sent me the most gorgeous flowers to work and one of my co-workers baked me a birthday cake.
My 17 year old son (who we have had a bit of trouble with lately) also outdid himself and gave me a beautiful tea light candle holder with "Special Mum" written on it and the following -
"Mothers hold their childrens hands a while and their hearts forever".
That he took the time to choose something so special by himself (no help from big sister) is one of the best presents I could ever get.
And yes, it did bring a tear to the eyes.
