I follow Will Wheaton on Twitter and saw the conversation.

It was pretty cool. Would it be safe to say that i actually enjoyed Wheaton on Star Trek? He never came across as annoying IMO. Still fans at the time voted him off.

I can certainly understand his desire to avoid seeing any more MacGyver after watching "Good Knight MacGyver"! But, hey, it was season 7... gotta keep your expectations low.

I wonder if we'll ever see Lisa Woodman in the reboot. (Or, for that matter, if we'll ever see King Arthur and Merlin in the reboot. haha.)

Me too! Still my favorite Episode(s) of Season 7. Yes, it's cheesy and corny and whacky, crazy, ridiculous... but so much fun!

Also, I think the music is amazing.

When it was first released it was okay. It is rather silly now but as you all say, good to watch for nostalgic no-brainer fun.

MacGyver was quite busy in that episode, despite the many mistakes. He fights Duncan, saves Merlin's life more than once, the lavapit, the dog, the revelation and the dungeon escape, are all classic.

I didn't like 'Good Knight MacGyver' much either, but I did like Wil Wheaton in 'Leverage' as evil nerd hacker Cha0s. He does sleazy and smug pretty well!

I've always liked Part 1 of Good Knight MacGyver, it's a good deconstruction. But Part 2 is more regular medieval drama, which isn't my thing.
