Most of us like practical SAK's but some of us prefer the newer models with integrated memory sticks, LED lights etc..

So if you are one of those people who wouldn't mind seeing such models coming out more rapidly, what would you route for?

Personally, i thought it a great idea if they had integrated a power bank into a SAK. Then you can charge your smartphone while on the go.

What do you guys think?

Any other ideas?

I like the idea of the stick though but maybe somewhere else on the SAK like on top so that there is room inside for the other tools. Now it just seems to take up all the space. Maybe a lighter, but that might take away the match and that's a Mac-item though.

I like the charger idea....I can't get much more than 24 hours out of my phone and I'd love to keep a charge while I'm out hiking! biggrin.gif

I wonder if a charger device could include a fold out set of solar panels to power the charger. How good is solar tech. At the moment, could they be made small enough but powerful enough yet?

It certainly does but i am unsure if they have solar power banks small enough to be integrated into a SAK.

That however would be incredible.
