'The Insider' surprised Lucas Till with this MacGyver picture during a recent interview.

...followed by the question, "Spot the fake MacGyver" to which he pointed left.

When you look at the jawline, though... RDA is a little more round but Till does not look good with that mullet. That belongs to RDA or the real Mac only.

Oh man what a glorious mullet!

For years and years and years, I considered the mullet very un-stylish and very out-moded. Then it occurred to me that it's probably a very practical idea for people who don't want short hair but don't want to keep fastening it back. Which would happen often if a person's job involved being sporty/active or making stuff explode.

Is it a spot the difference game ?
In that case I could say the eyes ,the nose ,the jaw and the smile . No need to say I prefer the original .

I could totally see Lucas sporting a mullet in the 80s/90s if he was the same age as RDA

So... I got home early from work today, saw this, laughed and this is what went through my head...

Mac, afraid to commit? Women are scary. They unexpectedly get in his car asking to be protected from criminal husbands! They steal his watch! They un-moor his houseboat! And those are just the ones he didn't get involved with! The ones he tries to get involved with try to kill him, or try to frame him and then kill him. Or marry his stunt double just because he's always rushing around changing careers and going different places. Or, worst of all, announce that they are giving up sex and relationships forever ... okay, he's not expected to take that one personally.

Does not look right at all! The mullet belongs to the one and only Richard Dean Anderson!

I didn't like it when RDA's hair was like that anyway. I preferred the shorter hair he had in the first three seasons.

And I have to say some expectations are a bit unrealistic, especially when we start saying that Till's nose or the jawline isn't right. If Lee David Zlotoff were in charge of the reboot, not even he would have promised an exact duplicate of RDA.
