Not happy when I went to play this from my DVR and saw R Kelly. |

I wonder if the Murdoc episode for next week will get pushed up a week as well? I'm really looking forward to that one. |

It's been pushed all the way to April 5 |
Posted by: DashboardOnFire 11 March 2019 - 03:37 PM | ||
yes, it's been pushed to April 5 because of March Madness. The schedule at the moment looks like this: 3x17 March 15 3x18 April 5 3x19 April 12 3x20 April 26 3x21 May 3 3x22 May 10 |

Little Warning: There could be local premptions for basketball tournaments, so check for alternate times in your region to watch or to DVR. Someone tweeted that their channel airs it after 11pm, so it might air but in a different timeslot. |

Hmm, I am slightly warming up to Desi. A very little. Plot twist: Sparky is the mole I feel like Mac and Desi could talk to Murdoc and Amber and be like, "Yeah, our first date was beating the crap out of each other too." (no, I don't ship Desi/Mac) Even Matty looked a little freaked at Desi's violence Bozer is a horrible liar I know this has been brought up at least a dozen times, but I'm going to say it anyway: I really have a hard time understanding how Bozer could go through SPY SCHOOL and still make all those AMATURE mistakes Leanna's much better at utilizing those skills, but she never said anything about Bozer's mistakes, so she's just as bad in this situation (Bozer used his own car?!) I knew Oversight knew they were there, so I wasn't the least bit surprised when he came up to the window I feel like one of the dead bad guys they found was the boss from the Wilderness Survival episode Caner? I guess that's one way to potentially kill off Mac's dad... |

The whole bozer character is horrible and a waste of screen time. Why Justin has stuck with it for so long is beyond me. On the other hand if he leaves we would lose 90% of all our BtS information as he's often the only one that posts regularly with updates from set.. so.... yeah.... |

Their attempt at dry humor about Riley snoring was boring. |

I liked the episode a lot. The opening was great. Nothing wrong with a little beef cake I was never a big Bozer fan but he does provide some comic relief. and Mac needs a best friend. Tho I agree he's not the best at the spy game The reenactment of the fight was entertaining. Loved Mac's facial expressions as he and Desi went at it. Not a lot of Mac hacks tho the bucket satellite dish was cool. Poor Mac. He finally is reestablishing a relationship with his dad and now the man has cancer. A touching last scene in the episode. |

Justin appears to like the role, so I don't blame him for sticking around. But I feel his comedic talents are better utilized BtS than on the show. I actually find him funny IRL. Also, if I make my own satellite dish, can I avoid paying for internet? Asking for scientific purposes... |

Preliminary Ratings: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/the-sked-friday-network-scorecard-3-15-2019.html There might be bigger adjustements than usual because they pre-empted the episode in some regions due to sports. Audience numbers could be better, but the first two episodes of S3 had been lower so it's not a new low so far. |

Another strong episode I still feel desie while I suppose is needed based on how they set up the show is still just dead weight but she wasn’t too bad, is it weird that I didn’t mind the prove it to me natural f marry but definitely was annoyed when Desie does it... I suppose in theory if they gave Riley the training she could be both protection and tech support in theory but over all I dunno... This season is stronger then season 2 so I am happy |

I don't think the fight was necessary? They probably would have been faster if they just followed the phone's movements backwards and then maybe went trough the movements step-by-step in the end to save time on finding the box. Anyway - I felt like this was the longest foreplay I've ever seen on a TV episode Which is kinda funny, because I think that scene would have worked very will with Lucas and George as well. I think that would be such a Mac/Jack thing; them pretending to re-enact the fight while trying to "win" over the other just for fun. I think Jack would be pretty competitive; even if it's just a re-enactement. |

Considering how CBS sabotages this show the numbers aren't bad. CBS also does no promo for the show. It's a miracle fans found it. btw anyone else HATE those banners advertising other shows? 1/3 of my screen is gone and if Matty is in the scene she's practically hidden. Awful.
True, but where's the fun in that |

I hate when they show them in a situation but don't show how they got out of it, like they did in the open this week. |

Fun, with a cool setting (pun intended...although -10 Celsius in there and not the slightest sign of breath?). Found the fight reenactment a little hokey, but the comedy aspect of it was done better than Bozer with Oversight. Sure glad they brought in Reign Edwards for 45 seconds of screen time...kinda hoping her character is the mole. Loved the very original MacGyver-esque ending to the mission with MacGyver appealing to someone to save human life...even if the life being spared was that of a crime boss. It's a nice tonal shift from something MacGyver Online mentioned back in the Catacombe thread about the previous week's episode in Ghana. Perhaps that's why I like the Desi character a lot more than I thought I would...and am starting to realize the bromance may have been much more of a hindrance to Till's MacGyver's character development. I'm not really missing Jack all that much. Even as a basketball fan, I kinda can't wait for post-March Madness because the next episode intrigues the heck out of me. Also, any 90s kids out there get the same "who is that" feeling with Nils Madsen, the seed vault guard? That's right, he was Wolf 'The Dentist' Stansson, the evil Icelandic hockey coach from The Mighty Ducks 2. |

Yeah I don't miss Jack either..... |

Really? Cool! Been along time since I've seen those movies... they are awesome movies though. Overall this was a pretty good episode. Only thing which really bugged me was the completely pointless opening gambit. It's pretty obvious the only reason for it was topless Mac and sexual tension or something between the two leads. Can't help wondering if they're getting us ready for a romance. |

This isn't the first episode they had a pointless opening gambit. Never gets less annoying |

Final ratings not good... lost viewers and down to .6 Even Blue Bloods down to .6 I know that MacGyver was regionally pre-empted for stupid basketball and aired like 2 a.m. CBS doesn't help with no promotion. I'm worried about a renewal. |

Final Ratings are in: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-friday-cable-originals-network-finals-3-15-2019.html Lowest ratings of the season so far. But all CBS shows suffered; I've never seen such a low demo for Blue Bloods |

Despite the low rating, the fact hasn't changed that CBS only needs one more season for syndication. I think it will get another season along with the other Friday shows, but after that, it's probably done. |

This one was again not really a good one in my opinion and again an episode set in Belgium. I think 1x14 or 1x15 was also set in Belgium it was the worst episode so far... still. I hope they make an interesting episode once set in Belgium. Anyway, the pointless opening gambits… though I'm not totally bothered with it, I don't see the point in keep making those. Might consider them running gags maybe, just like those silly quotes they put whenever they go somewhere in a poor attempt to be funny. I don't mind location stamps. Our Mac had those too every now and then, but then trying to make them funny when they're not (undoubtly the point) is like: nah. Ditch Leanna, ditch Bozer. Maybe it's not Justin Hires but Bozer is just not interesting neither is talking with high voice whenever he is fooled or something. Leanna is simply the most useless character in the reboot, Bozer included. While some don't seem to miss Jack, I actually do sometimes. There is a whole lot less of shooting/fighting ever since he left. An interesting shift nonetheless. The fight reenactment was fun but maybe not entirely necessary though I do would like to see Desi take on Patricia Thornton. And they obviously had a great time, considering the look on their faces. Our Mac would just figure everything out himself while the other guest stars would just stand there and be amazed. We don't have cemeteries like that in Brussels but nice try. The B-storyline was again of not much use but I do gotta say, in the scene with Bozer, Oversight and Leanna at the car, Tate Donovan did remind me of RDA in at least some way. Maybe in the way he smiled but he really reminded me of him. Maybe this should've been RDA's role for the reboot. |

Ratings for the rerun last Friday: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-friday-cable-originals-network-finals-6-5-2020.html Not too bad. Won even the 8pm slot in audience numbers. |
