The Stonehenge set came with a little book targeted more toward grade school kids. Each of the stones was a separate piece. I glued them together as well as glued them to the round, green cardboard base, so I could move it without it falling apart. If I remember right, I found it at a Goodwill store for around $1.00. You might be able to find one on eBay.

Oh okay cool I'll look on there. I love Stonehenge and ever since I first saw a picture of it when I was younger I have always wanted to see it in person. For now though, a model will do smile.gif Not to mention I like making all sorts of things. Years ago, I made a replica of it out of Legos the best I could, haha. Thanks for letting me know about that.

By the way, I responded to the message you sent me earlier. Sorry I didn't post the measurement of my door hinge for the Jeep yet. Got home from work with a bad headache. I will do this tomorrow and post it in the "Jeeping MacGyver Style" thread. Mounting those mirrors to the hinges would be neat.

Here's what the Stonehenge books looks like.

Thanks smile.gif If I can't find it or something similar I was thinking about making my own using real stones. I could study some pictures and the layout, make a drawing to help map it out, then take my handheld wet saw (for tile and brick, etc.) and carve each stone into a replica shape of each of the real ones used in Stonehenge. (or at least as close as I could get, haha)

I've used the saw for things like this before. Below is a picture of a key chain I made out of a rock that has a fossilized insect in it. Originally the rock was a little smaller than a racquetball so I slowly chopped and shaped it with the saw into what looks very similar to a Native American arrowhead. Next, I sprayed it with a few coats of clear sealer which made it shiny, water proof, and resistant to cracking. I then took copper wire and wrapped the notches in the top of the stone (covered by the blue cord in picture) and twisted it with a pliers so it would tighten it all together.

After slipping an electrical ring connector on the end of the remaining wire, I applied solder to the ring connector and let it travel all around the wire. After it cooled, it got another coat of sealer and I wrapped the top where all the wire and solder is with some blue cord using a technique for wrapping a knife handle with paracord. One more coat of sealer to give the cord a "dried sinew" (one of the ways spear points were attached to shafts) type look. Only thing now is I wonder how old the rock is?

Sorry that's long lol. I try to fill in free time with something hahaha and like to always be doing something when I'm not at work.

I've just finished putting together this page which lists all the known brands and styles of clothing and accessories worn by MacGyver.

I'd be interested to hear any feedback, particularly any mistakes, or extra information we can add to the page to make it better or more accurate.

Do anyone know what's the precise brand of the wristwatch worn by Mac on "The Gauntlet?"

Just wanted to share this. Yesterday I bought this jacket from the brand Divided.

user posted image
Maybe not exactly the same one as on the picture. There's a seam on the picture mine doesn't have around the chest area. It wasn't until today I realized that this jacket looks like the MA-1 Flight Jacket Mac has. The only difference is mine is completely black also on the inside. But I think it has the same feel and I also have this little zipper on my left arm. It can also give you this 'muscular' look like when you sit down while wearing it. I tried it on today but it was a little cold though, maybe it's too early yet to wear it. Though it hasn't been exactly winter this year.

It gives a little a Mac-ish feeling though. I haven't been watching the show for quite some time now. To be honest it was just the black that turned me on and it was good I found my size, so I simply bought it and I'm happy with it but it seems more like a jacket for spring and fall than winter and summer.

It's not the jacket I was originally looking at, but I just won this vintage 80's Avirex G-2 for $73.00. It's a little beat up (Small hole on cuff and back collar), but that just adds to the character imo:

I'm a 44 and the jacket is a 46, so hopefully it's not too big on me.

Nice jacket! Well done!

44-46 I'm sure it will be fine. Maybe a little big but should look fine.

Nice, that's a good looking jacket with a lot of character. Very little difference in the Avirex G-2 numbered sizes. For example, I can wear a 38 or a 40 in an Avirex and while the 40 is a little bigger, it is certainly not by much so I'm sure that one will fit you good.

Inspired by fellow MOL member nordmark, I bought the item pictured below, on eBay. I'll be purchasing one of the Wilbur's cocoa tins soon.

Nice collection! Keep us updated on how the shoes break in. How much did you pay for them? I got mine from a shop in France and after 2,5 years, they've developed a hole in the toe area - nothing I would have expected from 160 Euro shoes...
