Original version from "The Coltons" episode was over an hour long episode. The longer version was downloaded to YouTube a year ago by Richard Lawson who played Jesse Colton in the episode. But now unfortunately the original version seems to be removed, but luckily I got couple screen shots from those un seen scenes during the time when I was adding new filming locations.
I witnessed that extended version, so I can share a couple memories what I remember from it.
In the beginning when Frank and Mac got out from explosive warehouse in the night, after that in the extended version the whole family is eating rice for dinner in their kitchen table....and after the eating and talking it cuts to the morning scene what we see in DVD / TV, when they are in living room and the african american cop comes to visit.
Other scene from extended one, they arrived to some mansion to ask questions about Patricia and before that scene, one guy is cutting grass in the back yard and is wondering what the h*ck they are doing there without permission
There was also some other small differences but can't remember them clearly. The scene where under cover cop pushes Jesse down to stair case was also much longer.
Every time when I watch that TV/DVD version, it feels a little hollow somehow, that something is missing. But when I saw that original longer version it filled those hollow parts and the story made more sense. In the longer one they made more research, like when they asked questions about Patricia that how to find her.
