Im sure j12752 's right about him getting tons from fans and friends and things. I heard once, though, that they never let him keep one *from* the show. If so, thats so stupid

cuz theyd *have* to have loads of them on hand (because its a critical prop

). Every show that Iv worked on (not big shows, dont be impressed

) Iv taken a prop or something from.
Lol - there was talk of a "swiss army *bench*" in an article I read a long time ago....

Thats actually referring to the time when RDA found himself locked out of his house.

He used a garden bench from to smash a window so he could get in.

His friends called it his swiss army bench and painted it red with a white cross on it.

Nope - no footage. This was from an interview with RDA - part of which appears in the book "Approaching the Possible - The World of Stargate SG-1", by Jo Storm. (see page 11.)

Some interesting insight into RDA's philosophy and approach to his on-screen alter-egos.

That which has been established will endure even with time and at a distance.

I can't tell you anything about what happens after the cameras go off, mostly because I'm usually unconscious by then.

I don't know what Old Fan is talking about. If it's the same thing, I hope Jo Storm has some footnotes.

I have it somewhere, either on file, disc or dvd but I'll never find it in my current state of disarray.

In a Stargate interview, he mentions that he carries something called a 'MacGyver tool' for fixing his bike. I think he said that he carries that instead of a SAK. Can't remember where I saw this interview, though.

Ohhh... sorry... I really didn't know there was an actual interview - recorded somewhere...Hummm!

But that piece of it does appear in that book, which, by the way is excellent. Oh, and the "and we're walking!..." woman (from SG-1 - 2010) was totally irritating. You just really want to smack her...

AAAAAH! Shoot! I'm at work and here it's impossible to get sound! I mean, it's nice just to watch RD, but to actually hear him would be quite nice too.

Is this the interview in which they talk about computers and digital cameras as well? In that case I have seen it. And the man even (almost) uses the F-word!
Not that Í support swearing, but to hear him say that word was so... so...human.
He's so huggable.
