You don't have to like 'em either. If you don't, it's all good and a bag of potato chips. It's just been a bit of a trend to hate on Starbucks lately. It's not so much that someone doesn't like Starbucks, but that they ridicule those who do.

Absolutely! I have no reason to hate them. Never even tried them. It's just that it seems to appeal to an upper market compared to something like McDonalds or Burger King. Judging how this country ticks, I am finding it hard to see a Starbucks in my local town. I'd have to drive to snootyville to get a latte.

I pretty much gave up most of the obvious vices long ago, and figured I'd stick with the good one....gourmet coffee!! I live near a university town so coffee shops are popular. They aren't so much so the further you get out. Its the sticker shock more than anything I think, so I understand what you are saying.

I haven't had a latte in a while... I'll have to get one.

I'm drinking coffee right now... but it's cheap, work coffee (Folgers). It's been kinda hectic at work, so I haven't been around much. It's died down so I'm able to kinda relax today and take my time getting work done. Not that I have a lot to do. I did most of it yesterday. lol

Here's how I look at it... when you drink crappy coffee, it really makes you appreciate a really good cup of coffee. Currently, my cup of Cafe Verona is AMAZING!! lol
