Hello,

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction! I'm desperately trying to find the two MacGyver TV movies. (Trail to Doomsday and Lost Treasure of Atlantis)

I'm wondering if anyone has them on tape and available for purchase??

My boyfriend is a HUGE fan and this would be the perfect Valentine's Day gift!!!

The only thing you really can do is write a letter, send an email or make a telephone call to Paramount (www.paramount.com) and politely ask them to consider releasing both "MacGyver: Lost Treasure of Atlantis" and "MacGyver: Trail to Doomsday" on 16 mm film, Reel to Reel, Beta, VHS, Laser Disc, DVD, Blu-Ray, or HD-DVD since they haven't officially released them in any format!!!

(to the best of my knowledge...at least nothing in the USA)
At one time, it was mentioned that Paramount was considering re-releasing the entire MacGyver series on DVD on May 22 (presumably containing the 2 TV-movies) but this is off their schedule at the moment. I'm still hoping that it will return after the shuffling of dates that they seem to have been doing lately. And perhaps this time with some other bonuses as well. But for the moment, it's not on the schedule and we don't know anything beyond that.

Well there was hope that they would be included on the newly announced "full season box set", but the announcement has since been revoked.

So the answer would be no news at all.
