It looks like the http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000SQFC2M?tag=macgyveronlin-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=B000SQFC2M&adid=1S4T8FXEZA88PGSYY24H& (with the 2 movies included) is now a little cheaper than the http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GTLB5I?tag=macgyveronlin-20&camp=14573&creative=327641&linkCode=as1&creativeASIN=B000GTLB5I&adid=16MNCR9DA4RA5EHRK4XG& by $10.

Also interesting to note that Amazon aren't directly selling the older Gift Pack set any more, so I wonder if this means the Gift Set is being phased out in favor for the complete set with the movies?

If they are phasing the Gift Pack out I would hope they at least give viewers the courtesy of a professional presentation rather the the BS we've seen previously from them with the mixed up disks just thrown into a cardboard box.

Personally I think the Gift set idea of packing the individual season box sets together is a much better presentation than the full season's "throw them all together in a box" idea.

The movies deserves a box of their own. mad.gif

Hi again,

I agree about the two movies being sold separately. After spending all that money on the individual episodes and then Paramount putting the two movies in this huge set, and selling it for more money, I thought we got cheated out of our movies. mad.gif I think they should sell the movies in a box of their own. That way us people who already have all the episodes can buy the two movies. But I don't think that is ever going to happen. I even signed a petition trying to get Paramount to sell the movies separately, but I guess that didn't help sad.gif I have the movies on tape, but it would be nice to have them on dvd and with special features. That would be nice. Also it would have been nice to have special features on all the season episodes, like behind the scenes, out takes, etc. but I guess they didn't have anything like that to add to the dvds. So we got stuck with commercials instead. sad.gif

Well at least I have the movies on tape and can watch them whenever I want. But having them on dvd would be better.

Take Care,
Nancy

i agree with the movies being in different boxes, I went to block buster for the pure heck of it and they said it was sold out, i went to wal-mart and all they have is season on and the rest is online, and then i finally went to fey and they had season one three and four which cost almost $30.00 dollars a piece which is high.
you just can't find MacGyver DVD's any more there a rare find to find.

I bought MacGyver complete series box set with 50 euros. Excellent price IMO smile.gif

That is a great price, Harry.

At times, a few retailers have the complete box set on special which is always a great time for any fan to buy if they still do not own.

At first I had all the episodes taped from tv, it was huge line of tapes back in the 90's surprise.gif .

I actually had all of the seasons on dvd when they were first released, but at some point I sold my huge collection, thousands of dvds when I started to collect blu-rays. I thought to transfer my collection into new format, but as we know, many of titles never came to blu-ray. Still waiting for MacGyver blu-rays and many other. In a meanwhile they released this MacGyver dvd complete boxset with 2 movies. It was closer to 150 euros here at first, but with sale price I wanted to grab it, because I had utmost urge to see them again.

Yup. I did the same thing back in the day. Ended up having hundreds of tapes. Then it all went to DVD and Blu-Ray as you say.

It's an endless cycle. laugh.gif

Right now its going for $66.13 on Amazon. Not too bad.
