I kept laughing the entire time Jack tried to scare Mac with that Halloween costume. I had really missed to see George on screen last week.
It was a good episode. Not a Halloween Episode that kept me on the edge of my seat though; but they didn't really try to be overly scary and/or mysterious (compared to last season).

Not totally unexpected with the World Series competition, and it didn't lose too much in audience numbers, but I prefer to see more green for the CBS line-up.

Considering it's competition, I think it did quite well

This was another good episode. So far, Season 3 is shaping up to be my favorite season. The only episode I didn't particularly enjoy was the college episode, but even that one was decent towards the end.
I usually don't much care for the B stories in this show, but I thought the Riley/Bozer story in this episode was actually kind of fun (still very unnecessary, but fun.) And it allowed Mac and Jack to be tackle the main mission on their own, which is always a good thing.
My only complaint is Mattie. I still just wish they would make her more likable. But at this point, I guess I just have to accept that that's who she's going to be.

Another fairly solid episode. Superfluous B-storyline as usual, but at least it had some entertainment value.
I found the ending very "realistic"...I don't know if that's the word, but it was nice to see the writing play to what real emotion could do to someone in that scenario. Cardoza had spent his whole life in the shadow of the cartel led by Gomez. He had experienced personal tragedy because of them. He grew up, joined the police force hoping to change that, only to be rebuffed again by the cartel's overarching influence. Then a golden opportunity falls in his lap. Too many times shows get "preachy" and just "do the right thing" and hand over the bad guy. In this case, we see a character's personal vendetta override the desires of the hero. A nice twist, and it keeps the Jonah Walsh story line going for more Mac/Dad adventures.
Speaking of, now that the reconciliation is off and running (seemed a bit rushed, but whatever), hopefully they will focus the Mac/Dad story arc on tracking down the evil ex-partner.

Another good one but suddenly they sure have slowed down the pace compared to the first few episodes and now I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. Also the ending was good and unexpected. I wonder if that will be continued.
The movie references are awesome and some interesting combinations of characters like Jeddy or Frason. Though I thought it was a lame attempt to scare Mac and is Jack superstitious or something? He seemed like he didn't want have anything to do with the supernatural.
Nice touch with Officer Cardoza. Name is clearly taken from Colonel Cardoza from Blind Faith.
I think the poison that was used was applied to this knife, passed to the mutton when it was cut and then activated by the wine. - MacGyver. Sometimes you just have to die a little inside to be reborn and rise again as a stronger and wiser version of you. It's better to be a little sad than to be fake content.

Tees good TV time, thanks DashboardOnFire for the tip. How beautiful the city of Leon is, how beautiful I love seeing it, between the city, the church, the car scrapyard and the underground, I love this excursion to a city that celebrates the Day of the Dead. In addition Gomez is a real expert in his role as in Macgyver (fans of the first hour will understand) A very good moment of the series to see and review.
