Junket interview with Richard Dean Anderson regarding the TV-series Emerald Point N.A.S..

Conducted in LA circa January 1984. Interview broadcast on KOLN/KGIN-TV (Lincoln, NE).

Sorry about the sound quality; it's not as good as in the other interview I posted.

Around 1:10min, he talks about his brown leather jacket. Interstingly, it was a new jacket that was "sandblasted" to look old. I'm not sure if this is the jacket he brought onto the set of "MacGyver"?

That's always a sign you might be in trouble if your dashboard is on fire...

I vaguely remember Lee David Zlotoff and other producers talking about the jacket, but this is very exciting.

In case anyone is interested: This YT-Account posted a many video interviews from the 80s recently - with Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins and others. Seems someone has been digging through the archives.

These are cool interviews though! Very nice finds!

I love that these interviews still have a lot of RDA charm, and it shows he really didn't change much once he became a celebrity. That's so rare.
