They are great together !

Lovely chemistry and they seem to bounce off each other - beautifully.

Can't wait to see the panel discussion - which incidentally should be starting about now.

What I don't get is that George Eads says his name will be changed to Jack Dalton in the second episode---did I hear wrong? If not, then does that mean the original pilot with the long hair and Lincoln will still air?? Or does he mean the reshot pilot when talking about the second episode?

Sounds promising from that article! They even kept his fear of heights-- something the original series seemed to forget about at times.
Oh, and they're averaging 8 MacGyverisms per episode? Impressive! By the later seasons of the original show, we were lucky to get more than two per episode.

I think he's just making a joke (which is why Lucas laughs afterwards.) He says, "I'm George Eads. I'm playing Jack Dalton on the show MacGyver. It's going to be changed to 'Jack' in the second episode, it's a little shorter." In other words, he's either joking that they're shortening "Jack Dalton" to "Jack", or he's joking that they're shortening the name of the show from "MacGyver" to "Jack." Either way, it's not a particularly funny joke, but that's the gist of it. I don't think it has anything to do with the original pilot, or his original name, 'Lincoln.'

Sounds like it is going t be Team MacGyver after all. And the theme music is out the window.
