QUOTE (MacGyverGod @ 18 August 2017 - 03:53 PM) | Don't you think Cynthia seems to be over her grief about Booker rather fast in the last scene, after such an intense scene when they carry away his body? But than in The Madonna Cynthia can barely keep it together. |
Grief is a funny thing. When my grandma died my mom held it together real good for the funeral (a lot of activity, etc. to keep her mind occupied), but it was later, even years, with certain holidays, songs, etc. when she would really get sad because they reminded her of grandma. I'm guessing this was what it was like for Cynthia...hold it together at the time and do what you have to do, but later unexpected things would trigger her grief.
