1) TOOTHPICK - to remind you to pick out the good qualities in others.
2) RUBBER BAND - to remind you to be flexible, things might not always go the
way you want, but it will work out.
3) BAND AID - to remind you to heal hurt feelings, yours or someone else's.
4) PENCIL - to remind you to list your blessings everyday.
5) ERASER - To remind you that everyone makes mistakes, and its OK.
6) CHEWING GUM - to remind you to stick with it and you can accomplish
anything.
7) MINT - to remind you that you are worth a mint.
8) CANDY KISS - to remind you that everyone needs a kiss or a hug everyday.
9) TEA BAG - to remind you to relax daily and reflect on all the positive
things in your life.

I don't know if others would use it, but I would use the jiminy crickets out of it! I just love reading kind, encouraging, words of wisdom type things. This is a winner! I'd carry everything except 5, 7 and 8 in my survival kit.

I don't get that one. how does a fork do that? Enlighten me please Loth so I can decide whether to pack a fork or not!

You go to a restarant and eat a great meal; after you finish the entreé, the waiter comes to clear away the plates. They usually ask you if you want to keep your fork for dessert; you save your fork for the good things that are to follow... like after life you might hope to go to Heaven... or Valhalla... or Nirvana... or in my case, one of the not-so-horrible of Danté's circles... or wherever your system of belief and lifestyle might take you.


So remember, Neo.... there might be no spoon, but there is a fork... and you should definately keep it!
(please excuse the gratuitous 'Matrix' reference above... I couldn't resist!)

they don't give you another fork for your dessert if its a forky dessert? If its custard for dessert you are better off keeping your spoon. Eating custard with a fork isn’t so good.

Maybe you'd be better having a spoon. You can have more of the good stuff with a spoon. don't want to miss out because you don't have the correct utensil.

Just to explain my earlier choices...
I'd leave out 5 because mistakes can’t be erased and they do matter. Some mistakes can be forgiven but none should be erased. Also because I’d use 5 to change my list made with 4. Depending on my mood I probably have a different perspective of what my blessings are and if I’m feeling sorry for myself and want to wallow in self-pity I might rub some out that should always be there.
I'd leave out 7 because I’m not worth a mint and 8 because I think I do just fine without it. Without these things I can have room for Loths mysterious fork! Or a spoon.

you're excused. I just thought you were calling me Neo for a moment there! I seem destined to never get to see that movie. Every time I sit down to watch it something happens that interrupts my viewing and I don't get to see it.

Never really listened to the lyrics that carefully, which explains why I always sing about a fork stuck in the rut.

I like to use a spork. That way, I'll always have what I need. Spork in one hand, SAK in the other!

Sporks are great for almost evrything but twirling long spaghetti noodles........

They are excellent for flinging food items a very very long distance.




Unless the spork in question is a jail-issued spork. Since those are unbreakable, they are very bendy, and not firm enough to get the item more than a few feet.
