So who amongst you have made the connection between Sheldon Coopers girlfriend Amy on the Big Bang Theory and Lisa Woodman on MacGyver? If you haven't, they are both Mayim Bialik.

I've been doing a bit of research on Mayim and must say I have gained a lot of respect for her as human being. She's a Doctor of Neuroscience, a teacher, a caring mother and a very down to earth and likable person. She seems to share many of the same life ideas as MacGyver - how can you not like that?

She recently gave a very insightful interview where she talked about home schooling and dealing, dealing with conflict and also her divorce and how to communicate that to children. It really gives you an idea of how down to earth and practical she is. You can read it here

She is the spokesperson for Holistic Moms Network, a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting holistic and green parenting and living. - Sounds like something MacGyver would definitely be in to!


I wonder if she lets her kids watch MacGyver?

I didn't actually make the connection. One day, I was watching Hearts Of Steel, with my mum. My mum recognised her but couldn't tell where from. I did some research and, made the connection.
It's pretty cool.

Never seen the Big Bang Theory except from trailers. I knew this however a little while ago. Interesting where you know someone from, don't hear from them in years and than suddenly they show up again.
