He asked about our favourite Jack Dalton-episode, that does not imply it has to be your most favourite episode of the whole series.

On a wing and a Prayer. For once Mac had to ask Jack a favor. This is in my opinion one of their greatest adventures together. Not only because the roles were reversed, but also that Jack was along the adventure and could play low-key. And of course the rockets on the plane escape is one of the most spectacular escapes in the show. If you got a good surround system you turn up the volume when the plane zooms over the screen as you see in the opening theme. *Bbbbbrrrrooooeeeeemmmmmm* It's like they're really flying right above your head. It sure makes my skin crawl everytime. biggrin.gif

Quite right. I mis-read the topic.

I agree with MacGyverGod on 'On a wing and a prayer' – it's also one of my overall favs. For once Jack is not the annoying pain in the ass who gets Mac in trouble. He is asked to help, and helps.
Second best is 'Partners', because of Jack's hilarious dialogues with Mac in the hospital. Great interacting between RDA and Bruce McGill. Perfect climax when Mac says he can explain how Jack's cab was blown up by bazookas:
Jack: 'Bazookas? You can explain bazookas? YOU CANNOT EXPLAIN BAZOOKAS!'
It cracks me up every time.

I always thought that this dialogue is not realistic because Jack is the "troublemaker", not Mac.
Roles and situation seems reversed...

Anyway, my favourite Jack Dalton's episode probably is JACK IN THE BOX!

Really? I think this in this case Jack wasn't the troublemaker. It was Murdoc, all the way.

Yes, but I think in this episode Mac does not respect his character.
Ok, I was young and inexperienced but I don't like Mac in this way.

I think my favorite was the first one he appeared in, but I can't remember the name of it right now. The one with Mac, Jack and Mike, where Jack appears to die at the end. Mike should have been a recurring character, though. (and no, her appearance in the Murdoc episode doesn't count-- that was a different actress and a very different personality.)

The title of this episode is "JACK OF LIES "
