The saddle on MacGyvers horse changes several times throughout the episode.

I know this is pretty shallow as far as a nitpick is concerned... blush.gif ... but I was thinking that Mac should have a hellish scar on his shoulder from the bullet wound he received in this episode (and the subsequent cauterization with a fireplace tool! Yikes!), but in other eps where we see Mac without his shirt, there are no scars.

And believe me... I was looking! biggrin.gif

Remember the episode that came right before this - Everytime She Smiles... Mac had the cast on his hand and wrist. And he joked about skiing in the Alps... and in this ep. his hand and wrist were again shown bandaged up. That was real. RDA has actually broken his wrist several weeks prior, in an accident - a celebrity charity skiing tournament. The filming takes a break in December and January and that's when it happened. I remember reading about it in TV Guide magazine. OK, OK... it was January of 1986, but I DO remember it. They did a good job covering it up in To Be A Man - in the beginning when Mac bails out of the plane... he's got on black gloves and the flight suit that cover over the cast pretty well. But later on, you can see - if you look closely - it's a cast - peeking out of the sling. Looks like he was able to move his fingers slightly, but not the wrist.

Yeah...the poor guy should technically have tons of scars (not to mention brain damage)...but I imagine that one would be especially obvious. wink.gif

Looking carefully at the candles inside the hut, one notices that they are entirely FAKE. The flames do not waver at all when the lady walks past them, nor do they fluter about as normal flames of a candle do, when being blown out. Note how the lamp is similar.

sak.gif Has anyone ever notice that all of his head injuries take place on the right side of his head.? DOA MacGyver and the Outsiders. Same place same side of the head. Looks like he would at least have a sub dural hematoma (bleeding with in the brain). or some vision problems.

Or at least a scare. laugh.gif

You'll be pleased to know that in Good Knight MacGyver he hits the left side of his head. smile.gif

It still amazes me that he never had any visual problems. The episode where he was in a coma was spot on espeically with the amublance crew. I used to be a emergency medical tech, and the neck brace and back board were done correctly. smallstart.gif

When that Afgani-guy and the Russian soldier come to search Khalil, rifle that the Afgani-guy carries changes. At first it is Lee-Enfield type bolt-action rifle and after he notices Khalil's bridle under the bed, it has changed to semi-automatic SVT-40 rifle.

The weapons in the 80s looked quite fake. Not to mention the sound effect. But it's the 80s so i don't complain much.

Mortar sounded like someone unclogging a toilet. And the RPG didn't take time to get to the target.

I'm surprised he was able to move as fast as he was considering what had just happenend to his shoulder. Cautuerization would have cut off the blood supply to the bullet entry wound. But what about infection from the exit wound? blink.gif

Hi. I know this would probably ruin the whole episode, but has anyone ever noticed/thought that if the boy (I can't remember his name at the moment) had pushed the bridle back further, the guy searching for Khali might have never found it?? unsure.gif

Yeah I thought that myself. Personally I would have hidden out in one of the buildings. Under the hay. But from what I gathered they didn't have much time to grab it even if it had been noticed.

Poor Mac. I think the boy was in too much of a hurry to realize it wasn't completely hidden. Though I thought it was nice they showed so much care and concern for Mac. Even if it meant danger to themselves. MacG.gif

Why does Mac let the russian soldier run away. He knows once he runs away he will signal the rest of the army.

Mac should have tied him up so they could get a bigger head start out of there.

Mac isn't that type of person and I think he was trying to teach Ahmed a lesson in humanity. macsak.gif

Yeah, that was pretty obvious. You'd have to have been blind to miss the obvious cast poking out.
