when mac stows away on Betsy from the logging camp and hided among the logs there are 11 logs in betsy but in a later shot of betsy going down the highway with mac in the back betsy now is carrying 12 logs

Do you guys actually ever wonder why there is the conveyor belt going a 100 feet up and not leading anywhere? Or is it meant to transport the logs from the ground into a truck or something?

It carrys the saw dust out to be dumped.

I would presume it is that high to either allow trucks to back in under it to to allow them to run for a long time making a very high pile of sawdust before they have to worry about removing it.
