Center stage at the Novomatic Americas booth will be two licensed games displayed in a PlayerPocket format, From Dusk Till Dawn and the iconic TV show hit, MacGyver.

I'm all for MacGyver-themed stuff, but not sure if that the best thing to have of our idol

Well, if they do a video game it would be based off the reboot, not the original.

Though, I'm pretty sure CBS just wants to pretend the original doesn't exist anymore, but still bank on it's popularity.

I actually did a thread a long time ago on what I'd like to see in a MacGyver video game. XD I could probably did that sucker up and blow off the cyber dust.

I know I said this before, but I think the Nancy Drew games match MacGyver in some ways. That'd be a good starting point for a MacGyver game.

I always thought the "Broken Sword" games would have been a great template for a MacGyver game. They were classic point and click adventures, which definitely fit the MacGyver style the best, since many of the puzzles rely on figuring out how to use items in unconventional ways to solve problems. And the settings for the Broken Sword games often felt like they'd fit right in with Mac's world. I mean, look at some of these screenshots, and tell me this couldn't be adapted into a MacGyver game:

Considering how much different the reboot is from the original, it would make more sense for them to style this after the reboot, in my opinion. The reboot is popular enough, so they'd still be banking on popularity.

There's a slot machine conference going on this week-end in Los Vegas. The MacGyver slot machines are front and center of Novomatic's display stand.

That seems so random and weird to be happening now especially for the old version!

I’m going to be in Las Vegas in a couple weeks I wonder if I can find out if they are anywhere?
