I suppose he could have had time to wipe it off, but he smears the fake blood liquid he made on the wall with his hand. Shortly after the bad guy corners him with a gun and his hands are clean when he holds them up.

When MacGyver smears the fake blood on the corner, at first it's a pretty good amount. When it shows it a second time, it looks like he barley smeared it on and also appears less red.

in the flashback in when the kids are shooting at the bottles one of the kids asked mac "where did you learn to shoot like that?" and young mac replies "my dad taught me" but macs dad and grandmother were killed when he was 7 in a car crash. are we supposed to believe his father taught him to shoot at like 6?

when danny is falling down the stairs there are at least 2 shots (one where hes falling and when he comes to a stop at the bottom of the stairs) where you get a clear shot of the fact that it is not jason priestly but a stuntman

where did young mac get all the rope and the sleeping bag to transport a critically ill jesse?
when young mac stops the motorist to help jesse, we cut to a shot of an ambulance picking up jesse from the same spot on the road. 911 didnt go into service until 1968 and this was well before cell phones. the motorist young macgyver stopeed would have had to drive to a home, get the number for the local fire house and then call them directly in 1963 and then wait for the ambulance to respond to the scene. Nobody would have left a critically injured jesse on the side of the road without taking them by car to either the hospital or the location they called the fire house from.
and i doubt the paramedics would leave a kid who just shot his best friend to death and covered in blood standing by himself on the side of the road.

The first time he does it, it isn't as dark. Its very smudged. When we see it again there's a clear handprint which wasn't there before, and I think the 'blood' is actually darker this time.
IMO.

Not to mention that is the WORST CPR I have ever seen. Geez Mac, you gotta do it better than that - don't they train them on how to do it properly?
If they did it properly they would kill the actor.
Obviously! But they could put a little more into it. If you are going to do CPR on camera, you gotta make it look lifelike. CPR isn't one compression every five seconds, its about one compression every one or two seconds, or something.
I just expected them to put a bit more effort into it, is all.

Realism wasn't all that big back in the 90's.
Also remember that CPR has and continues to evolve. Every time you go to a First Aid course they've changed how you do it. Things like the breaths to compression ratio is always changing.
So at the time of filming that might have been the correct ratio.

when the 4 guys of the gang are running behind shawn and danny, just after danny crashed the stone on their front car glass, u can see it's raining hard. but they stopped running while they see the police car coming on the street, in a full sunny day. just 10 meters away from a rainy scene.

Just seen this episode again. There's been a lot of running up and down the stairs in the hospital. There is at one point we seen Mac running through a corridor to the stairwell. Above the corridor doorway it says 3rd floor. Mac hastens himself to the second floor running after Danny where Danny slips over the bullets down the stairs to the first floor.
Mac takes out the bad guys and wheels Danny out of there. Just wondering... Is the first floor counted as the ground-floor? Because if they were actually at the first floor and Mac smashes the door open with that cart, shouldn't the thing fall a floor down before it reaches ground level? Just so I noticed.
Also because Mac tells Spider that Danny is in the kitchen downstairs. But Mac just wheels Danny out through the corridor he came back from after taking out Spider's buddy as you can see when Mac bursts the door open they actually are in a kitchen, you can still see the fake blood in the back.
Oh, and one more thing. Doesn't that stairwell look an awful lot like the stairwell in Lesson in Evil? The corridors on the first level and the third level look a like and the corridor Mac walks through where he finds Skinner also look a lot like the ones in Blood Brothers. The chances it's a different place is zip I think. I can tell you one thing: in Lesson in Evil the place looks a lot more sinister than it did in Blood Brothers.

Saw this episode last night & I have to admit that I hardly saw any of the mistakes. Just goes to show what you really pay attention to sometimes.
Was interesting to see Jason Priestley as a young teenager prior to his 90210 days.
Villians in shows of the 80's always made me laugh. They used to be very 2 dimensional. Spider's lackeys could have shown more depth but that was the price for shows of this time.
One interesting thing is that it reminded me of the movie Stand by Me and the IT miniseries. Mainly because of the return to a childhood event and the reunion of those friends affected.
