When MacGyver made the smoke he wore his jacket over his mouth for not breathing it in. But later on, when he fell through the window, he held it in his hand.

They found it in the water when they were searching for him. So what jacket he wore later on in the episode? Where did he get it?

When he fixed the bike he used a screw from another part of the bike. I always wondered why there was a screw without function so that he could remove it without causing any other trouble. Surely they only would put screws into bikes at places that have a function?

To answer your question about the screw...Most bikes come with chain guards on them either made of plastic or aluminum. Some people take the chain guards off or they snap off. The screw that was remaining on the bike with no fuction one time probably was there to hold on the old chain guard.

Now technically I'm driving a stolen car following a kidnapping... and I didn't even get to have my first cup of coffee. (Mac)
Your burning hot MacGyver... And so is Pete! ! (Murdoc)
Does anyone have a knife?? Yes...it has lots of different blades (Macgyver music plays while mac examines the knief) ...I know
Why are you taking your pants off?? You got a better idea? I'm still trying to figure out what yours is!!

This screw was not from the chain guard kit, and it had no function. Maybe it was the one to fix the basket for water-bottle?

I just compared this bike to one of my sons bikes...

It looks like that screw could be where a support arm for the original chain guard was attached.

There seems to be great variation on how the guards get attached to the bikes, for example, my sons bike has a support arm attached closer to the pedal shaft, but in the same vicinity.

i saw that too and i thought wouldn't the bike just fall apart without the screw.

Beachbead, it's good thinking, coz some machines would, after taking off a screw seeming small and unnecessary.

Grazias for the picture.
Or maybe you are right, because during the manufacturing cycle, there sometimes are added details, which are e.g. for upper/lower class versions of the product, and sometimes are useless.
Maybe there were few versions of this guard?

Anyway, I remeber 20 years ago i had similiar bike, and had the spare screw in the same place (low inner corner of the frame).

Greetz from Krakow smile.gif

P.S. Have you noticed using this beauty-sailorgirl again, after playin' also in Hellfire?
It's not the first time in MacGyver ( I've noticed 3 other guys, and here on MacGyverOnLine.com you wrote about some women).
Of course not speaking of Andy Colton. smile.gif

Anyone know who the computer/intercom/radio voice is?

I know it's been guessed as bonnie hunt/ellen degeneras

in this episode it's the coast guard radio operator.

Also heard in the human factor, pirates etc.

Speaking of Radio's

When lancer is faking using the radio, he plugs it back into the phones jack.

Phones is the headphone jack, the mic jack is the one below it empty

I could have sworn we've talked about that before. But the discussions not here. Maybe it was in the episode discussion.

Anyway I've added it to the nitpics list. smile.gif
