Peter Lenkov has just confirmed in his live Facebook chat that Murdoc will be in next weeks episode.

YAY!!!! I can't wait! Just saw the preview. I think this Murdoc will be WAY WORSE than the Micheal Des Barres version.

He looks and sounds quite creepy and I love it. Missing the British accent but meh...

I will say this if instead of the classic MACGYYYYYYVER yell the old Murdoc did we get ANNNNGGUUUSSS I will throw something at the tv

Kinda reminds me of Murdoc in Strictly Business. I'm hoping with each episode, he's a bit more crazy and not so well-groomed, so it's sort of like Murdoc's evolution in the original in reverse.

I like that idea. That would actually be an improvement over the original series.

I hope this Murdoc still has a sense of humor, but isn't QUITE as campy as the original Murdoc was (don't get me wrong, I was always thoroughly entertained by Michael Des Barres' over-the-top campiness, but I just don't think it would work as well today as it did back then.)

Well, aside from the usual annoying characters like Bozer & Dalton, I am looking forward to seeing this new incarnation of Murdoc. Lenkov is pretty good at creating psychotic villains (Previous works) so i assume he should be able to get this one right. Or so i hope!

I'm also encouraged by the fact that the guy playing Murdoc is actually a huge fan of the original Murdoc. I know that doesn't really guarantee anything, but at least it makes me think that he'll really want to capture something of MDB's performance, unlike, say, George Eads, who admits that he never really got into the original show.

From the sneak peak, it seems like he has more of a deadpan, pitch black sense of humor.

Bozer: What do you do at the think tank?

Murdoc: I'm with human resources.

Bozer: So you hire people?

Murdoc: No, I'm more of a hatchet man(as he slips on a pair of black leather gloves).

I like Bozer! I don't know why everyone seems to be against him...

I think it's mainly because he adds absolutely nothing to the show. I get that he's supposed to provide comic relief, but there are two problems with that: 1. He's not funny, and 2. The show really doesn't NEED a comic relief character since it's never overly serious in the first place. So his scenes always feel like a waste of time (except in this most recent episode.) I think most of us would rather just spend more time getting to know Mac, rather than watching Bozer trying to get into Riley's pants.
