I'm not doing much of anything today, but tomorrow's my birthday. I'm going to go out to eat at Olive Garden, make brookies to have with ice cream, and watch a MacGyver episode from my dvds. Probably "Serenity". Later in the evening I'm gonna check out this new forum I found for Dragon fans. I guess I'll be part of two forums now.

So it's actually gonna be my 18th birthday so... Today is the last day that I'm generally a child. I'm actually gonna be considered an adult tomorrow. No going back. *strikes brave and noble pose*

I was an adult for awhile and discovered it's waaaaaay overrated lol!

Its fixer-upper weekend and repaint the house with a little help of course. Fixing all the cracks, chips, and water damage to successfully bring back some life to the place.

That on top of all the cold weather we have been getting.

No plans for me. Just cleaning, laundromat and preparing for next weekend. I'm trying to plan something for next weekend, but not sure on that yet.

I hate to say this, but I got a four day weekend starting Friday. It's because we're closed for Memorial Day on Monday.

But, my sister and I are planning on going out for breakfast and then seeing Deadpool 2 afterward.

*thinking about how I've graduated and am currently looking for a job, meaning that for the time being, every day is a weekend*

No clue

But there's a boarding kennel that's hiring, so I'm trying to apply there.

I tried to apply as a library aide, but they filled the position before I could, and I tried to get hired at a local toy store, but I didn't like the way it was run.

And then there's everyone that wants me to have all this job experience on my resume, and I'm like, "I'm not Shirley Temple..." -_-

Its been a crazy couple of weekends and this one aint no different!

My son is going to his 3rd or 4th birthday party (I lost count) and my mom celebrates her birthday!

Wish her out best my friend! Busy weekend for us too. My youngest is camping out with the Boy Scouts, while I'm at work and my wife is trying to get things organized at home. No wonder the year is flying by!

@DragonDog - I meant to tell you this, and I guess I kept getting distracted... but if you're having trouble finding work, try a temp agency. That is how I got my current job. You may just need to work some jobs you're not gonna like, but think of it as experience building.

Also, volunteering might help you as well. Make a rapport in the community, get some experience helping people and gain some references. My local Humane Society is always looking for people to socialize with the animals. Never know!

Thanks guys! I'm not sure what's planned yet, but as long as there's cake. Love me some cake! lol *yum*

I do have plans to see Solo this upcoming Sunday with my sister and some friends. I'm very excited!

Not much going on through the rest of June or July. August seems to be shaping up to be a fun month though! Still got plans to visit my Dad sometime in August with my sister. Also, one of my friends may be visiting for a day or two at the beginning of the month... though, it greatly depends on if he can work things out in his schedule.

I'm working this weekend, but next weekend we're on our way to visit our son in Boston. Haven't had a family roadtrip in awhile, complete with one of two of our sheepdogs in tow, so it should be fun!
