It seems you can look forward to seeing Bruce McGill regularly on TV again.
Best known to us, of course, as Jack Dalton on "MacGyver"-
Bruce has recently signed on to the new NBC production of "The Bionic Woman"

It says he will be a "high-ranking operative who oversees the bionic project."

Hmm, does that mean he'll be playing Richard (not Dean) Anderson's original role on "The Bionic Woman"?
(And that would be "Oscar Goldman", by the way. And though I still think I'd rather watch the Lindsay Wagner original show- perhaps this new version will be worthwhile. We'll see.)

Oh man! They've mish-mashed the bionic women with the bionic man and thrown in a healthy dose of Jake 2.0

Shes got a bionic eye and ear and has those nano..things that Jake had.

Yeah, I read about that in my local newspaper ( in the Entertainment section , of course. ) I mean the part about that show coming back on. And this is news that Bruce McGill would be on it. It would be very funny to see him as the boss ( Oscar Goldman ) . I don't anticipate seeing it tho' , since I am with you about it is preferrably better to have seen the original show. I used to watch the show with Lindsay Wagner ( back in its day ) . But if they have any of the original actors appearing ( even as a guest ) that would be interesting. As you say, we shall see how that goes.

However, keep in mind that those are only Region 2 releases. For some annoying reason, Universal has yet to release The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman in Region 1 DVD!!!! (And I wish they would soon- because I'm sure many North American viewers would love to be able to see these shows again- without having to get a muti-region DVD player)

yeah it seems mighty strange that they would release in region 2 when the show was made and produced in region 1

I loved the Bionic series, though the movies that came after left much to be desired.

Lee Majors pops up as a guest star every now and and then, but I've only seen Lindsay Wagner in those bed commercials. It would be cool if they did a "Alfred Hitchcock" during a scene.

Yeah, I saw that commercial with Lindsay , and all I could say is " Man, oh Man ! But she has aged so . And at the same time , she still looks like her wonderful self. And it is true that I do not see Lee Majors anywhere these days. But I KNOW he is still alive, cos I hear things about him. He is making some movie some where, or doing something, right ?

I saw Lee Majors on a rerun of Jake 2.0. Though I don't think he's had a really steady gig since Fall Guy.

Who know? I'm a sci-fi junkie, so I'll probably buy the DVDs. They're releasing all the old series at such an affordable price, it's really hard to resist.

Yeah I remember that episode of Jake 2.0... was funny cos they used Lee to make the connection that Jake was a new version of the bionic man idea. I loved the joke he made at the end about the car Jake wanted...

"I could run faster than that thing will go." *bionic sound plays in background as Lee smirks at the camera*

And now they have combined the two together in this new version of the bionic women.

It'd be really kewl if they had the original actors as guests int his show.. maybe have a guest spot with the Jake 2.0 guy as well.. just as a way of connecting, that yes they have used all 3 elements in this new version of the show.

Have you seen the pre-release for the Bionic Woman? It looks good... a bit bloody in the begining (...and I wonder if they're keeping Katie Sackoff(sp?) from BGS...?)

Anyway, that and the pre-release for The Sarah Connor Chronicles looks good too, if you like sci-fi, that is.
