When a vial containing a deadly virus is stolen from the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, MacGvyer and team race to recover it before the thief unleashes a global pandemic.

Interestingly, the beard looks just like in Episode 1x09 and he had it only for a single episode like this - when they did the Photoshoot for CBS Watch! Magazine. So I wouldn't mind if they'd done another shoot

uh oh... Leanna and Billy are back in this episode.

Billy needs to bugger off and leave MacRiley alone. Grrr

I really wish there would be no Leanna. I find her character dull, boring, and totally useless to the stories. Too many characters. The episodes work better with one central focus and that should be Mac and Mac/Jack imho.

Can't wait for the preview.

I liked the main narrative about the virus. Mac really shined with his deductions and hacks.


Jack and his thoughts on Leanna priceless.

I did not especially care for the Riley side story. Unnecessary and took up too much time. I prefer one main narrative.

So how did Mac and Jack escape that cage?

CBS wins the night in audience and demo.

MacGyver has the same demo ratings as H50 and BB. If the audience number holds, this will be episode with the highest audience number

Sadly, the demo got adjusted down. This is the episode with the second-highest audience numbers in S3, though.

This one was not as good as the previous 7 or so episodes.

The pacing has slowed down and remained steady for a some episodes now, which is good.

This episode had a little Renegade vibe to it. A vial that is stolen from a highly secured labs...

And what's up with Jack? I really missed him in the last one, but I really wished he wasn't in this one. He's either tough and proud about it or he's really acting childish. He practically wet himself and Bozer is still in the way.

Yes, there are too many characters sometimes. Looks like we also went again for a side-story with Riley and Billy, that added nothing to episode. Riley should be with Mac in the field.

Again some time travel or teleportation feature there. How did Mac got so fast from South Carolina to Romania?

Nope, least favorite so far.
