MacGyver Online Forums > House Boat > Licensed MacGyver t-shirts?

I have no idea if these really are licensed, but it says they are. I've never seen them before, and I think they're fabulous. I couldn't resist the tools of the trade one! Gorgeous!

I hate to say this, but I doubt those are licensed. If you're looking for something official, these are the only official t-shirts out there. Anything else is fan made.

Honestly, the official ones aren't exactly nice, are they? I'm sticking to that one lol!

As the ferret saith - They're not licensed.

They're fan made, hence the sale on ebay rather than an official site. wink.gif

That's very misleading of them to claim to have license on the shirts when they don't.

Yup. Definitely not licensed.

I do like the looks of them though!

Ebay should do more to snuff that stuff out. Better to turn a blind eye though, both for sales, publicity, & also legalities. There were also T-Shirts produced for crew and as complimentary mementos for fans, friends of the show etc. They are kinda plain jane but yet really nice with Mac era colors/font and of course they have the ultra close association with the MacGyver production endeavors. You can still find them occasionally on the auction sites, but we're 30 years on now and Tees, even laying in a drawer collecting dust, only have a certain life time. This one, the dealer said, was given to a friend of his who was a caterer on set for some of the episodes .......

Fair comment. The fan designs are much better and not as abstract.

I actually bought three of the official ones when they were first released. I like the School of Engineering one. I gave one to my sister. True, the unlicensed ones are a bit nicer in design. I especially like the green "wondrous paperclip" one.

I'm more of a coffee mug person though. I have more coffee mugs than I know what to do with.

Something creative - no need for any graphic/image. Keep in simple!

My tee arrived today and I love it! The material is quite thin, but it's so soft to say its not cotton. The print has a washed look, but then I knew that from the "sublimation" description, as my dad bought me one from the US like it years ago. Mac is bigger on the tee than I expected, and it fits well. Dang it, I can see myself getting some others....
