Here's your "Baywatch with Tanks". Enjoy...
Great pic
You know, the concept of "Baywatch with Tanks" is actually quite interesting. If someone's in need out there, you can just shoot the lifeguard into the right direction over the sea. He doesn't have to swim out there and therefore saves not only time, but also strenght for the swim back with the (now maybe unconsious) person who needed help. Also, you avoid sharks and other dangers on the way out if you fly over the water instead of swimming through the water.
They could save so many more lives! *lol*

We now know it took, 10 days to film episode one. Breaking for two days (Friday and Saturday).
And five days to do Post Production editing/graphics. So 15 days in total. Episode 1 should be completed by July 28th.
Well in time of it's air date, so this project is well on course.
By that rationale - July 31st filming of Episode 2 begins - 18th Aug completed Aug 21st filming of Episode 3 begins - 8th September completed Sept 11th filming of Episode 4 begins - 29th September completed Oct 2nd filming of Episode 5 begins - 20th October completed

I've seen some similar pictures with Lucas and Till today.
From my experience, most ComicCon interviews won't get released until the "real" promo starts. It makes sense with movies that don't have its release date until maybe half a year later, but I guess we'll might see this very soon.
I'm not sure how this works with new shows on American TV, but I guess there will be more BtS and Featurettes by CBS in August and September and other media outlets might release their interviews and articles at the same time to get more hits... So there will be a trickle of information during the next few weeks; probably every time we get some more official news by CBS (e.g. new cast member announcements).

Stunt Coordinator Jeff Wolfe had posted the short video of the military truck stunt on July 18 on Facebook. His stunt friends really want to do the original MacGyver-Stunt with the "flying" horse (The Gauntlet?) again ;-)
I'm not sure about that - that stunt was crazy-amazing (poor horse, though), but it wouldn't feel right nowadays with all the new technology available... probably would be even cheaper using a CGI-horse instead of a real one...

I think it's easier to do with real horse, especially if you wanna make the stunt in 1 take, thats why it was much greater when it was done only once The Biggest time and money waster is probably the proper planning.
Lifting a horse with helicopter is same as lifting a box with crane in construction site, so I dont think CGI is going to be cheaper, if they only want CGI horse.
If they're gonna make that horse stunt with CGI, I would rather spend those moneys to ANY other new CGI stunt, what could look much much greater that this horse stunt.

RDA said in an interview that the horse was totally relaxed once it lifted off the ground. I know they used a special harnesses to secure the horse safely AND comfortably.
I'm pretty sure vets use harnesses for lifting horses for certain types of procedures they do so it may have been the same kind of thing used in this, but in any case apparently the horse seemed to enjoy it's weightlessness fromt he recounts I've heard of the stunt.
