I voted good, it's not the classic adventure - Mac is literally never in trouble the entire episode which is unusual even for social issue episodes, but I still enjoy him in it, and the story line is fairly good. Seems classic for the time period. Like others have said, it was basically an RDA episode as much as MacGyver. While the social issue episodes are never my favorites, I still like that it adds a lot to who Mac is - the show is probably stronger that way than if it was just a spy of the week episode.

This episode is useless, and for good reason, nothing happens, no action, no enemy ...? Nothing. The only thing that saves the episode is ice hockey, the RDA sport, which manages to transmit its passion to us.
