At the time of his passing, fans from around the world sent their messages in to be posted on our e-card, which was then printed and sent to Danas family.

This card has been reformatted to a web page, but still holds all the messages as a permanent dedication to Dana

What a beautiful tribute. I felt devastated when I heard he died. I know that's nuts to say because I never knew him, only watched MacGyver, but I really did.
He was incredibly talented.

He certainly did feel like someone you would like to know.

Whoaa!?! I just now learned of Dana's passing, I had no idea until I just now came across this. sad.gif

Dana a.k.a Peter Thornton was a great actor, among the best of them, I will always enjoy his many many TV roles.

sak.gif Dana Elcar was a talented actor who will be missed. I first remember seeing him on TV as a by the book Marine Corps. Colonel who was Robert Conrad's nemesis in The Black Sheep Squadron. His character as Pete Thorton was a complete opposite. I felt bad when hearing of his passing in 2005. I grew up watching him on TV. R.I.P.

I learnt today that Don S. Davis was his stuntman and people often took one for the other. Funny to see that Don was playing the boss of O'Neill in SG-1 later on.

Yes it's funny how how things work out sometimes.

Also sadly both were lost before their time. sad.gif

That's great. Love Dana. Thought he was a wonderful actor.

I loved him! I remember the first time I saw him playing the hard nosed Colonel in Baa Baa Blacksheep. Besides his acting ability, he sure seemed like a genuinely good guy.
