How about...
MacGyver's Ghost Ship with a free sasquatch picture.
The Phoenix Foundation Lab Tour.
Jack Dalton's Air & Sea Plane Ride in 3D.
HIT's shooting range.
Manco's Treasure Roller Coaster.
Good Knight MacGyver The Ride.

My sister and I thought Disney should own MacGyver, since they've got the resources to do some pretty great things with the franchise.
That, and it makes "MacGyverland" more plausible.
I mean, they're about to open Pandora: World of AVATAR, for crap's sake...
Could you imagine a MacGyver themed hotel and 5-star restaurant? XD

If Disney owns MacGyver it probably means toning down everything for no reason at all. A villain like Zito would turn into a cartoon and massive facial injury like Strictly Business would be out of the question.

Actually, that's not true...
Disney owns Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Marvel... hell, they even own Deadpool!
Rogue One and The Force Awakens were excellent movies, all produced under the ownership of the Disney Company. Also Disney has been known for it's fair share of dark storytelling, and even attempted to acquire the rights to the Alien franchise for an Alien themed attraction in the Magic Kingdom back in the 90's called the Nostromo. It didn't work out, but they has an attraction that was similar that George Lucas helped with called the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, and was so frightening that it had to be shut down as it was deemed "too scary". You can learn about it HERE.
So, if you're worried that Disney will dumb down MacGyver... they won't. MacGyver was always a tad kid friendly anyway. I was allowed to watch it back in the 80's when I was just a munchkin, and I turned out okay... I think... XD

They own Star Wars and Indiana Jones now. If they did in the 80's, Temple of Doom would've never been made. However I did figure The Lone Ranger was quite dark. But indeed maybe there is a certain change now if Disney is taking over, that they are willing to keep the several audiences happy. Not everything has to be family-friendly, that's why we have ratings for a reason.
Maybe this would be an interesting feature in a MacGyver Theme Park.
Escape rooms based on MacGyver's locked up situations or totally new escapes and the tourists have to MacGyver their away out.

Temple of Doom would have remained the same.
See, people seem to conveniently forget that George Lucas and the Disney company have collaborated together since the 80's... LOOONG before Disney owned those franchises. This is why I wasn't surprised when Disney got ownership of Lucas Arts when everyone else whined and had a conniption fit.
The video I posted actually mentioned that it was George Lucas that changed Michael Eisner's mind about the Alien attraction. So George Lucas had a lot of pull in Disney during the 80s/90s. This is why Disney ended up with Star Tours and TWO Indiana Jones attractions, plus George Lucas' help on Alien Encounter and Captain EO. All before Disney owned Lucas Arts.
You're talking to a Disney expert here... lol They wouldn't have ruined MacGyver... =P

Contrary to the collaboration between Lucas & Disney, Disney were still deemed to be a kids company due to their past.
One of the main examples are the failures of movies titles such as Rocketeer, Black Cauldron & The Black Hole. Even Tron. The majority of reasons for these movies is still blamed to that of audiences assuming these were made for kids when in fact they were reaching out to a greater audience.
The late 70's, 1980's and early 90's were a risky affair for Disney and most adult projects were left with disappointing results. It took a while for them to break this barrier.
A famous line from the Wikipedia page of Rocketeer, "The Disney tag also was seen to have turned off people who assumed that the film was for children."

Monkey brain eating, blood drinking, ripping out hearts and lowering into lavapits with a Disney stamp on it? Sorry, but doesn't sound likely in my ears. At least not back then.

MacGyver was a family orientated show. There's nothing in it that would have offended Disney at that time.
The fact that MacGyver was family orientated might work quite well in a Disney park. I think the downfall would be that they would include it in already existing Disney parks.... There's enough options with MacGyver to have his own park.

I totally agree. MacGyver is 100% Disney approved. A man who thinks outside the box. Avoids violence and guns. Cares for the people around him and the world in which he lives. This is of course the original MacGyver.

Still MacGyver started plenty of fights and almost always won.

New in MacGyverLand: the MacGyver World Map Slide. You dare to slide down the sand with only a map?
Also new: the MacGyver Balloon Ride.

Unless people get eaten, yes. If I didn't I would say: 'Mr. Hammond, after careful consideration, I've decided, not to endorse your park.'

Most Disney parks have themed areas. Most of those areas have four things... a thrill ride, a slow ride, a kid's attraction and place to get food (with bathrooms)
SO, MacGyverland:
Fun Ride: Soarin' with MacGyver ft. Jack Dalton Hang glide with MacGyver as your guide
Dark Ride: Secret of Parker House Like Haunted Mansion, but themed after Parker House with Penny as your guide
Children's attraction: MacGyver Meet n' Greet "makeshift" playground in a wooded area, with area for MacGyver characters to meet kids
Restaurant: MacGyver's Houseboat Get tofu casserole, whole wheat & banana pancakes or other healthy treats. Themed Houseboat with props.
