Was saddened to read that actor Martin Milner, who first played hockey coach Turk Donner on the episode "Thin Ice" and later played James MacGYVER on the episode "Passages" has died.

According to IMDb, his acting career spanned fifty years (1947 - 1997). He is most remembered for his starring role as Officer Pete Malloy on "Adam-12".

Milner used to be in Dragnet too. I think he was also in an episode of Airwolf.

Great actor. Will be sorely missed.

Read it this morning on wikipedia, but didn't know that he starred in MacGyver. I'm generally bad at remembering minor character's real names.
