I'm switching my email from Concentric to Verizon in May of 07. Meanwhile, I wrote the original MacGyverism list, which is on my web site.

I know others have copied it and put it on varying sites. (And Rocketeer, I think, said a couple of teensy corrections were made...)

Ok, I'm wondering if I should move it to Verizon, and put a "redirection" page on Concentric until my account goes away, or if I should just take it down, and say, "Ok, it's been posted at various other places, some give me credit, some don't...." I'm not really concerned about whether or not I was "given credit..."

I know Rocketeer has the MacGyverisms on here, so do I really need to have them on another site?

Well it kinda depends if you want to keep it or not. If you don't want to keep it, the information is on other sites, so you could just let it go.

If you want it purely as a keeps sake/archive you could put it on something like 250free.com and just leave it there for ever.

Well, I was just going to "let it go" but apparently lots of people are reading it lately! I'm two days into my new billing cycle on my CNC.NET ISP (which is the one I will probably close down) and already I'm getting nastygram emails because my site has "exhausted the number of hits allowed" unless I pay to add more bandwidth. I guess I'm going to have to keep it and move it somewhere.

Along with the MacGyverisms, I have some "Survival in the Woods" stuff, which is about edible plants. I got the information from a poster from the US Forest Service, I thought it was pretty "MacGyverish."
