Switzerland doesn't celebrate Thanksgiving, yet still they started with Black Friday Sales last year in some shops.

There are some electronic gadgets for great prices out there, but I don't really need anyhing, so I don't want to give in to the temptation to snoop and then buying something I didn't need in the first place.

I don't have a smart phone yet and might need one soon (since my phone will stop working once they disable the old GSM network next year), but I doubt I get something good with all the mayhem today. I was overwhelmed two years ago when I bought my new camera; there's just too many devices to choose from . I need an employee with lots of time that explains it to me and advises me which one to buy

Friday is my usual day for housework and groceries and I wanted to go to the city for my sister's Christmas gifts. Now I'm not sure if I even want to try; especially because she needs a new pepper mill and nothing that Black Friday Sales Ads are all about (clothes and electronic stuff mostly). But all the groceries at my store were 10 percent off today and I had to buy ingredients for baking Christmas Cookies this weekend; so I didn't mind at all .

I just bought some coffee and some clothes from some online deals. I'm kinda waiting to see what Cyber Monday deals we'll have. I don't really go out in public on Black Friday. I want to live, thank you very much.

I decided to get a new computer as i needed an upgrade from my last which was manufactured by Dinosaurs. So it should be making headway this week!

Okay, I know it's February, but whatevs

I check around eBay and Amazon for deals around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I never go out in public during Black Friday, as I hate sifting through crowds year round as it is. But I've managed to get some good deals online on things I've wanted to get but couldn't afford before it went on sale.

I've mentioned before that I collect figurines from my favorite movies and shows. I was trying forever to get a figure of Astrid (from How to Train Your Dragon). I could only find her for around at least $199, and as high as $400 (it's a four-inch figure for crying out loud!) Fast-forward six years later, and FINALLY, I managed to get one off eBay for $35. It didn't come in a box, but I didn't intend to keep her packaged up anyway.

Sorry, I just needed to brag to somebody.
