| I've just come back from a classic car show where my local town closes off the main street and classic car owners from around count country display their vehicles. The day is very much a celebration of classic Americana with live bands playing classic Rock and Roll, US flags in all directions food stalls and cool cars everywhere. I couldn't help imagining MacGyver wondering around looking at all the cars, stopping to look at the engines of the ones which had their hoods open, much like the scene from the Theif of Budapest I expect. Maybe even enjoying an ice cream.  Maybe he might even have entered his truck and Oldsmobile in it. I did actually see a black truck like the one he has.   |

Yeah I do, just added a slide show to the top post. Note how the town is at the foot of a rather large bush covered mountain... just adds even more to the MacGyver feel really.  |

Nice pictures, looks fun! I agree with what you said about imagining Mac at the event, looking at the cars, etc. Definitely can see him there  |

| Sweet. We have National Street Rod weekend every September. The car has to be at least 25 years old to qualify. It is fun to see them all around town. |
