| She provided some comic relief and she was likable, but I have a problem with her at times. She seems a little overdone. |

| I liked the character. I thought she was funny and helpful. She may have been over the top sometimes, but I think she was a good addition to the cast. |

| Hmm- Mama Lorraine was definitely something different to add to MacGyver. And I liked her pretty well. She was a good neighbor to MacGyver and helped take care of him some- seems kinda like a bit of a mothering instinct. And since she believes in voodoo, she added a supernatural edge to some of the episodes, obviously "Walking Dead" in particular. (And her scene in "The 'Hood" was just hilarious when she freaked out that one guy into telling her and MacGyver what they needed to know.) And she also appeared in "The Prometheus Syndrome" for a bit. Another 3 episode appearance character- portrayed by the same actress. That's always a plus. |

| Yes--actor consistency! There is quite a dearth of that in most of the series, so to see the same actress in 3 episodes playing the same character is always a bonus. |

| Also this character gets a good voting from me. I think this is the sort of character you can ask to arrange some things or to do some things, like going to the store. I even wonder if Mac asked her to do that. Than again with his line of work, he probably hasn't got time to do it. So ask Mama Lorraine. Too bad she was in only three episode if the series got to an 8th season she probably showed up more often. |

I liked Mama Lorraine becaused she cared about Mac, and all of her neighbors. I especially loved the line in the Promethius Episode when she threw him a black plum, and said that inside were as red as his "sweetheart's lips." She new Mac needed the love of a woman in his life.  |

| I really liked her. She actually struck a familiar chord for me and it was nice to see MacGyver be kind to her even though she was out there. There have been a few older women through out my life that have struck up a friendship with me. They were always a little out there but they had a giant heart of gold and took it upon themselves to look after me so you end up enjoying their oddness as part of their charm. MacGyver did that as well. |

I thought Mama was cool and funny. She was good to MacGyver and that's always a plus to me.  |

| Mama Lorraine's cool. I've only seen her in one episode so far (The 'Hood), but her 'vaudeville voodoo' act to freak out the dopey bad guy was just priceless! |

I like her, she treats Mac like her boy and he takes it, he is just so cute when she reminds him that he said he would help her when her boys are away and now they are away, and he put his head down to say "yes ma'm"  |

Wrong "Mama". It was Mama Colton that he was to help when the boys were away. Mama Lorainne was Mac's neighbor in season 7. |
