Hey people!

I couldnt find any topic that shares my problem, please redirect me if you do.

oh well, Im in desperate need of your help! I'm doing a one year assignment on putting Macgyvers idéas and experements to the test, to see if they are actually possible outside the studio. (yeah, something like those mythbusters episodes)
I have a pretty thight budget so I won't be able to do any plane/submarine/train-explosions, though I really love a big explosion, hehe.

I was thinking about putting those small tricks to the test, such as; making a lazer out of a binocular, mixing diffrent kind of liquids to form a corrosive acid or making small bombs out of a napkin and a fork.

Don't be shy, spam me with you contributions! smile.gifsmile.gif
Also, if you do have something for me, remember to post season- and episode name or a youtube clip.

Thanks for helping me out, I really appreciate it! smile.gif

Hi, welcome aboard.

You can find a list of all the MacGyverisms performed in each episode http://www.macgyveronline.com/pages/macgyverisms.html. You'll will be able to pick out MacGyverisms which suit your need and budget from there.

You'll also find a disclaimer on http://www.macgyveronline.com/pages/macgyverisms.html which will explain why you wont get any explosive MacGyverism to work the way it did in the episode. wink.gif

One thing which might be easy to replicate is testing the welding using coins as the welding rod as he did in http://www.macgyveronline.com/pages/e6.html

Good luck with your research and do let us know how your getting on and what results your getting. smile.gif
