They make more money from having it on their own streaming service than they do from Netflix.

Everything CBS does is to make money. No matter what they do, or how silly it might seem, you can guarantee there's a money reason behind it.

Of course that applies ot all the networks, not just CBS.

ahhhh so you think CBS will only have HD on their own streaming service? like Star Trek Discovery? I HATE all these subscriptions - there are too many!

Really enjoying watching from the start in HD, hope they don't make us wait too long for season 2 though.

still wondering how much time would it take for a "Complete Set" release on Blu-ray. Season 1 is $40 atm.

I'm curious as well when they'll announce S2. I think they could profit better from it if they release it as long as the Reboot is still airing and throwing the name of MacGyver onto social media every week.

I do wonder though if they will bring out a boxset of all the seasons next year for the 35th anniversary, maybe even with extras or is that just wishful thinking on my part?!

I am SO HAPPY !!

I'll be watching this with my father, just like in the Good Ol' Times!

Ordered the boxset (in french of course ^^ but I'll be watching it in English too ^^) and can't wait to have it in my hands!

Concerned by what I read though, I really hope they will release the other seasons...

Dear Friends,

Yesterday evening I HAD A BLAST!

I watched the first two episodes on the blu-ray edition, and I must say it so nice to watch this beloved show in such good quality.

The only concern I have is about certain parts of the show being a little bit too "reddish", but, apart from that, I love the new transfer so far!

I also "feel" that the french audio is of a less good quality than the original one, how do you feel about that? Is anyone of you, like me, a French guy? I would be really happy if one of you could answer me on that specific point

I honestly think that I'm going to watch this boxset over and over...

For me it was like seeing the episodes for the first time again. The clear pictures certainly make a HUGH difference.

I really wish they would release the other seasons.
