| CBS/Paramount are set to release the two made-for-TV MacGyver movies, 'Lost Treasure of Atlantis' and 'Trail to Doomsday' on a single DVD this June 8th. Previously these two movies have only been available as extras to the Full Series Box-set which was released after the individual seasons box-sets were completed. This has always been a point of contention amongst fans of the show who felt BS/Paramount were duping them. This will now be rectified as the single-disc release (185 minutes) will be available for separate purchase on June 8th. There is no indication of any extra features or material being available on this release. |

Nope. They got their own themes like many episodes. But there's plenty of recognisable music used in the show as well. Like the chase scene in Lost Treasure of Atlantis.
One for the remote and another one for a drink or munchies. |

I wonder if this has anything to do with the (upcoming) release of the MacGruber movie.  Perhaps this is a good opportunity to tell people: MacGruber is not MacGyver! |

| Looks like the price will indeed be reasonable. It'll be in the range of $14-15 USD, depending on just where you get it. Not bad for two movies! |

| I really wish they'd add some extras like interviews with RDA about the series, and a documentary about the history of the show. I know they won't, but it would be great. That's one thing I miss on the season DVD sets-- they should have done like they did for Stargate SG-1 by including featurettes, interviews, ets. Oh well. |
