I'm still here, checking things every day. Next January, I've spent half my life here. But I also got the idea the facebook page is getting more popular and most of us are there now.

I'm still here too. You can't have a serious fan discussion on places like facebook. It's just pictures and people saying "watching this". This forum is a great place for fan discussions.

"You see how this line intersects that one? That means we're going to be spending a lot of time together!" I don't remember: *do* they ever end up in the same episode together again, other than the dream episode? Regardless, they're in the same orbit now, so it's probably a lot closer to true than the other palm reader who told Penny she was going to move to India.

It's interesting that they retcon the pilot episode intro. The first time we saw MacGyver, he was on a mission to destroy a missile component: he didn't realize the pilot was still alive and only changed his mission profile when he saw that. This episode implies that he and DXS knew the pilot was still alive and sent him to rescue him, and don't mention the missile.

I'm still here too, I check in whenever I see a notification on a thread I am subscribed to.

I did watch the re-boot, but consider it a totally different show. Good, but different, I think largely because it doesn't have 'our' MacGyver in it. I still have real fondness for the original show, warts and all!

Thanks! It has been kind of quiet lately. I've been doing a rewatch of the series in order, which I've never actually done (I watched this all out of order on syndication and then filled in all the gaps bit by bit once streaming became a thing), so every now and then I have a thought and put it down here. Two seasons down, five to go.

We did a marathon series watch awhile back. It's a great time!
