Posted by: KiwiTek 19 March 2012 - 12:31 AM
Someone gives a MacGyver quote and the rest of us try to guess which episode/scene its from. Who ever gets it right then has a turn at providing a quote.. and so on.

only a couple of rules to make sure the game plays along nicely...

- All quotes should be MacGyver quotes, not other characters. (we may change this later)

- If it's your turn please check back in at least every 24 hours to see if anyone has answered it correctly. Any answers left uncheck for longer than this will be awarded by me to make sure the game continues.

First quote:

"When you say in the middle of nowhere, you mean 'nowhere' don't ya."

Posted by: Traveller 19 March 2012 - 02:16 AM
Great idea, KiwiTek!

My guess: 'Three for the road'.

Posted by: KiwiTek 19 March 2012 - 08:36 PM
Correct. Your turn

Posted by: Traveller 20 March 2012 - 01:54 AM
'Missed one of your cameras, did I?'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 20 March 2012 - 04:28 AM
Children of Light.

Posted by: Traveller 20 March 2012 - 04:40 AM
Yep! The floor is all yours, M'God.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 20 March 2012 - 06:13 AM
'Maybe someday I'll learn how to drive on the interstates.'

Posted by: Traveller 20 March 2012 - 06:52 AM
99% sure of that one: 'Bitter Harvest'.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 20 March 2012 - 08:40 AM
Correct.

Posted by: Traveller 20 March 2012 - 11:03 AM
'Save the threats, will ya? I'm not going away.'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 20 March 2012 - 03:20 PM
The Wasteland.

Posted by: Traveller 21 March 2012 - 01:09 AM
Yess!

Posted by: MacGyverGod 21 March 2012 - 10:44 AM
'Why?! Why did you kill him?!'

Posted by: Traveller 22 March 2012 - 12:06 AM
Hellooo! Anybody home?

Look, folks, I think know this one, but if I got it right, then it's my turn to give another quote once again, at which MacGyverGod will reply once again, and.. etc. etc. This isn't supposed to be a one on one game. Come on, jump in and play. I'll wait..

Posted by: cirubit 22 March 2012 - 10:11 AM

This game, for me is very hard, because I remember all the dialogues in italian...

Posted by: cirubit 22 March 2012 - 10:20 AM

I try to remember the equivalent quote in italian language but I can't do this.. but also I don't want quit!

Posted by: cirubit 24 March 2012 - 01:38 AM
Ok, I try again:

"TOUGH BOYS" ?

This time I'm not sure... hmm.bmp

Posted by: KiwiTek 24 March 2012 - 02:19 AM

Deep Cover? When he's in the water? (haven't watched that one in AGES, so I doubt that's right, but it's the first thing that came to mind.)

Posted by: cirubit 29 March 2012 - 01:57 PM
Nope... Deep Cover isn't the right episode... doh.gif

Posted by: MacGyverGod 29 March 2012 - 02:43 PM

Trumbo's World?

Posted by: Traveller 30 March 2012 - 08:30 AM
And 'Trumbo's World' it is!
So. No surprise, apparently..
You're just too good at this, Mac'God!

Posted by: cirubit 30 March 2012 - 08:45 AM
Ops.. you were too quick guys!

And I had not the right answer, anyway...

Posted by: MacGyverGod 30 March 2012 - 03:57 PM
Alright, here comes next.

'No, I can not keep away.'

Correct again, Traveller.

Posted by: Traveller 31 March 2012 - 02:07 PM
Sorry, Cirubit. But this ís my favorite episode, and this quote is só Mac.

Hope to be back shortly, with a good one.

Posted by: Traveller 31 March 2012 - 03:14 PM
'No last-minute excuses this time, I promise.'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 1 April 2012 - 12:36 AM
That sounds like a hard one. I'll place down the whole episode list here, I'm sure the right one is in it. biggrin.gif

Sounds like MacGyver would say this to a girl. Maybe somebody he really loved. I'm thinking right now: The Road Not Taken, Lost Love or The Negotiator.

Posted by: cirubit 1 April 2012 - 01:19 AM
As MacGyverGold said, it could be "THE NEGOTIATOR" .

I'm pretty sure...

Posted by: Traveller 1 April 2012 - 01:44 AM
Well now. Did I find a quote that M'God can't guess right away? I must be making progress... nasty.gif

The answer is: no.

Posted by: cirubit 1 April 2012 - 02:40 AM
Let me think again.

I must start to re-watch all the episodes with english subtitles very soon....
boxing.gif

Posted by: Traveller 1 April 2012 - 02:50 AM
Poor you.. wink.gif

Posted by: MacGyverGod 1 April 2012 - 09:06 AM
I like a challenge.

It's neither of the three I mentioned, right?

Deadly Dreams?

Posted by: Traveller 1 April 2012 - 09:42 AM
That's right, neither of those three.
And it isn't 'Deadly Dreams' either.
smile.gif

Posted by: cirubit 2 April 2012 - 08:59 AM
I try again:
" TWO TIMES TROUBLE"?

Posted by: Traveller 2 April 2012 - 09:31 AM
Nice try, but no.
Let me give you a hint: like M'God suspected, Mac says it to a girl, but she is not a girlfriend.
That should narrow it down a bit. Maybe.
wink.gif

Posted by: cirubit 2 April 2012 - 10:04 AM
Maybe Mac says it to Cynthia Wilson... hmm.bmp

"THE MADONNA "????

Posted by: Traveller 2 April 2012 - 10:27 AM
No.

Posted by: cirubit 2 April 2012 - 10:45 AM

Will I have to spend all night watching DVDs?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 2 April 2012 - 10:59 AM

Posted by: cirubit 2 April 2012 - 11:44 AM
I have checked it and it is not FLAME'S END

Posted by: Traveller 2 April 2012 - 11:44 AM
Sorry, guys, but the answer is still no.
I really had no idea this one would be so hard.
Really. MacG.gif

Posted by: Traveller 2 April 2012 - 11:51 AM
Give up?

Wait, this is not another quote! This is me. biggrin.gif

Posted by: MacGyverGod 2 April 2012 - 12:29 PM
But I'll get back at ya, pal! biggrin.gif

Than it wouldn't be Countdown either because I was wondering between the two. Another one that comes across mind is maybe Hellfire.

Posted by: Traveller 2 April 2012 - 12:42 PM
laugh.gif

As for your suggestions, that would be a No and another No.

Posted by: cirubit 2 April 2012 - 01:06 PM
Now I go to bed ( in Italy it's 11 p.m) because tomorrow I'll wake up early... surprise.gif

Tomorrow I try again! hmm.bmp

Posted by: Traveller 3 April 2012 - 12:23 AM
Sorry.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 3 April 2012 - 01:07 AM
Oh, you're good. Does Mac say it by any chance to his hot next door neighbour in Back From The Dead, because that's what he said the last time?

Posted by: Traveller 3 April 2012 - 01:23 AM
I was about to give another hint, but:
you got it, Mac'God!! That's the one!

Posted by: MacGyverGod 3 April 2012 - 01:57 AM
I'll make it easier on this one.

About the new "quote"..,. let me think for a while what is the right episode with Jack.

"BIRTHDAY " sakopen.gif

You are right: the episode is "FRIENDS".

In "Birthday" there is not Jack Dalton.

Forgive me: I know perfectly titles in Italian and I messed up!

No, sorry... try again! nasty.gif

Ehm, actually, Mac does say it in 'The Survivors'. Apparently my 'piece of cake' is not the same as yours. blink.gif

You bet!

Posted by: Traveller 10 April 2012 - 01:40 AM
It's suspiciously quiet around here. Either everybody is busy elsewhere, or trying to find the answer – and not finding it.
Like me. I checked some episodes with a possible 'piece of cake' in it, and zip.
Fact is, I haven't got a clue.

Methinks a little help would be nice, Cirubit. sak.gif

The Human Factor, maybe when he's sneaking in the building.

Posted by: cirubit 10 April 2012 - 01:17 PM
Sorry guys, I'm just back from my Easter holidays...
The quote is not in The Human Factor.

A little help: in that particular episode MAC was on a mission outside the U.S.A. ...

All right. This one shouldn't be too difficult:

'I've never hit a woman before, but you come darn close!'

Posted by: cirubit 12 April 2012 - 02:18 PM
I have two options but I'm not sure which one is right.

Anyway... FIRE AND ICE?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 12 April 2012 - 02:45 PM
The Escape.

Posted by: Traveller 13 April 2012 - 12:22 AM
And 'The Escape' it is.
Not bad, MacGyverGod.

(was this your other option, Cirubit?)

Posted by: cirubit 13 April 2012 - 12:43 AM
Grrrr mad.gif

My second option was "FOR LOVE OR MONEY", but last night I thought , believe it or not, at THE ESCAPE as possible episode.

You are too good guys....

'You lied to me!'

Posted by: cirubit 13 April 2012 - 02:23 AM

'Jerico Games'

TRUMBO'S WORLD ?

Posted by: Traveller 16 April 2012 - 09:32 AM

Let me try to find another nice tough one.
That will have to wait a little while, though.
Be back late tonight, I hope.

Posted by: cirubit 17 April 2012 - 08:55 AM
But your "late nite" is my "morning", I believe, and in the morning I am at work , and if I'm working I can't write my answers...

So MacGyver Gold will say the answer before me.

Posted by: Traveller 17 April 2012 - 02:42 PM
Here goes:
'Give me your high hard one.'

Posted by: cirubit 18 April 2012 - 05:03 AM
I will think about this "quote" but I don't have a clue what it means ( in italian )...

Posted by: Traveller 18 April 2012 - 05:12 AM
Okay, this is the Google translation:
'Dammi il tuo tiro alto rigido.'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 18 April 2012 - 11:14 AM
Mountain of Youth.

Posted by: Traveller 18 April 2012 - 11:45 AM
Yes!

Posted by: cirubit 18 April 2012 - 11:52 AM
What answer?

Mountain of Youth ????

Posted by: cirubit 18 April 2012 - 12:26 PM
Ok, I check the episode and Mountain of the Youth is the right episode.

Mac says this to Jack before throwing stones... I must improve my english otherwise I don't undestand the true meaning of some literal expressions.

Sorry Guys!

I thought it was a Baseball expression and that's why I said squeeze play.

Posted by: Traveller 18 April 2012 - 12:37 PM
Sorry, I thought it was clear my 'yes' was for the last answer.
Which means MacGyverGod was right.

It must be hard for you, Cirubit, to have to wrestle with two languages. I was sure the Italian Google translation wasn't very good, but I couldn't do any better.
Let's hope you catch the next one! And oh, by the way, I think your English is pretty good.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 18 April 2012 - 02:43 PM
'That is not what's important here.'

Posted by: MacGirl 19 April 2012 - 07:34 AM
I'm back!

hmm.bmp Sounds like it might be from a later season... am I in the ballpark?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 19 April 2012 - 10:52 AM
Nope. The ballpark is the other way. biggrin.gif

Posted by: Traveller 22 April 2012 - 01:00 AM
You've done it this time, MacGod.
I think I know why this one is so tough: it doesn't contain even the tiniest reference to a scene or episode or season. I played all the episodes in my mind, and a few for real, but couldn't find anything.
So.. a little hint, maybe?

Okay, just one wild guess: 'Live and Learn'?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 22 April 2012 - 09:23 AM
Wrong season. It's much earlier. Like two seasons.

Posted by: cirubit 22 April 2012 - 10:48 AM
Do you mean season three?

Posted by: Traveller 22 April 2012 - 01:55 PM
.. and the funny thing is, somewhere in the back of my mind was an episode which I thought could be the one. After Mac'God's hint about the third season I just knew it could be none other than:
'Rock the Cradle'!

* Thinking of a new quote *

Posted by: Traveller 23 April 2012 - 11:57 AM
Ready?

'Let's check ol' Betsy.'

Go!

Posted by: Traveller 23 April 2012 - 12:15 PM
Correction:
'Let's check out ol' Betsy.'

LOG JAM ????

Posted by: Traveller 23 April 2012 - 01:04 PM
You got it!

Posted by: cirubit 23 April 2012 - 01:41 PM
Yess! w00t.gif

It's strange, I don't like this episode but " Betsy" , the name of the truck, I remembered it well.

Let me think my "quote".... hmm.bmp

Posted by: cirubit 24 April 2012 - 12:34 AM
Here we go:

"You give up?"

Posted by: MacGyverGod 24 April 2012 - 01:10 AM
The Assassin comes to mind but than the quote should be:
'I give up?'

Posted by: Traveller 24 April 2012 - 01:22 AM
I always thought Mac's line there was: 'Give up?'

Another episode that comes to mind, at least mine is, the one with the female assassin, 'Phoenix under Siege'. Or does Mac say 'Had enough?' I should go check it out.

Posted by: cirubit 24 April 2012 - 01:34 AM
THE ASSASSIN is correct ( hmm.bmp too easy) but in the DVD the right quote is as I wrote, if you read the subtitles in english.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 24 April 2012 - 03:38 AM
'That's it. You're out of here!'

Posted by: Traveller 24 April 2012 - 05:00 AM
You're really making it too easy.
'Ma Dalton'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 24 April 2012 - 09:08 AM
I'll come up with harder ones. That's it, no more episodes involving recurring characters... maybe. biggrin.gif

Posted by: Traveller 24 April 2012 - 01:58 PM
Hands on the buzzers! Here's the next quote:

'Oh, it's kinda tough to offend me.'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 25 April 2012 - 09:56 AM
*peut* Pirates?

Probably not, but I know that quote.

Posted by: Traveller 25 April 2012 - 10:00 AM
Nope. Not 'Pirates'.
By the way, what does *peut* mean?

Posted by: cirubit 25 April 2012 - 10:37 AM
"ON A WING AND A PRAYER"????

Posted by: Traveller 25 April 2012 - 10:39 AM
No. Later. Much later..

Posted by: cirubit 25 April 2012 - 10:49 AM
oK, this was my second choice : "OBSESSED"?

Posted by: Traveller 25 April 2012 - 11:46 AM
Sorry C Man. No.

Posted by: cirubit 25 April 2012 - 12:17 PM
Ok, I still have 2 or 3 possible options but this time I give up.

Posted by: Traveller 25 April 2012 - 12:55 PM
Take your time. I won't be around for a while, but will check in from time to time.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 25 April 2012 - 01:49 PM
QUOTE (Traveller @ 25 April 2012 - 07:03 PM)

Sound of the buzzer. I'll see what I come up with later.

Treasure of Manco?

Posted by: Traveller 26 April 2012 - 10:09 PM
I'm afraid it's a no again.

Posted by: cirubit 27 April 2012 - 01:00 PM
A little hint?

Posted by: Traveller 27 April 2012 - 02:38 PM
Mac, far away from home, has no one he can trust but himself.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 28 April 2012 - 01:21 AM
Trail To Doomsday of course!

Posted by: cirubit 28 April 2012 - 02:11 AM
"Trail of doomday" ??
I would never be able to guess 'cause I don't have the DVD in english.

Posted by: Traveller 28 April 2012 - 07:00 AM
Yes, M'God, Trail to Doomsday!
Why didn't you say it right away? tongue.gif

Posted by: MacGyverGod 28 April 2012 - 11:11 AM
Just some rule of the older phrase quiz topic I once started. No movie quotes were allowed. But what the heck...

'Not a chance!'

Posted by: cirubit 29 April 2012 - 01:34 AM
Ok, let's try:

"GX-1" ?

Posted by: Traveller 29 April 2012 - 10:23 AM
'The Challenge'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 29 April 2012 - 11:54 AM
And I think he also said it in The Battle of Tommy Giordano. biggrin.gif

Traveller, you're up again.

Posted by: Traveller 29 April 2012 - 02:29 PM
No, he didn't. whistle.gif
Never mind. The next one shouldn't be too hard:

'I think the fact I didn't reply annoyed them just a little.'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 30 April 2012 - 09:57 AM
To be a man?

Posted by: Traveller 30 April 2012 - 10:45 AM
Yup!

Posted by: MacGyverGod 30 April 2012 - 11:45 AM
'You had a great time.'

Posted by: Traveller 30 April 2012 - 11:49 AM
No kidding. 'Jack in the Box'?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 30 April 2012 - 01:01 PM
Right again.

Posted by: Traveller 1 May 2012 - 12:38 AM
All right, let's have one that's (almost?) as easy as yours:
'Why are you so afraid of going after the truth?'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 1 May 2012 - 01:57 AM
Blood Brothers?

Posted by: cirubit 1 May 2012 - 01:57 AM
QUOTE (Traveller @ 1 May 2012 - 08:41 PM)

Easy for you, not for me...

Can I try to write here a "quote" in italian for you??? biggrin.gif

Anyway: "MA DALTON"?

Posted by: Traveller 1 May 2012 - 02:20 AM
biggrin.gif laugh.gif
Okay, Cirubit, a challenge: next time you got the right answer, you give us a quote in Ialian. That should even things up a bit.
Which doesn't mean that you can do that right away. Because, sorry, 'Ma Dalton' is not correct.

Posted by: Traveller 1 May 2012 - 02:32 AM
blush.gif Whoops, sorry, Mac'God, I overlooked your answer. Which isn't correct, by the way.

Posted by: cirubit 1 May 2012 - 04:05 AM
Ok, I'm ready for the next challenge.
boxing.gif

Posted by: MacGyverGod 1 May 2012 - 05:30 AM
I think I need to rewatch some episodes, to jog my memory a bit.

Posted by: cirubit 1 May 2012 - 08:44 AM
"RUSH TO JUDGEMENT "?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 1 May 2012 - 09:14 AM
I think that is correct.

Posted by: Traveller 1 May 2012 - 09:31 AM
Yes it is! Nice, Cirubit!
Now, are you going to treat us to a quote in Italian?

Posted by: cirubit 1 May 2012 - 10:02 AM
Ok guys, here we go with my "italian quote":

"Mi ha fregato, mi ha fregato di nuovo!"

It's easier than it looks...

Posted by: MacGyverGod 1 May 2012 - 10:06 AM
Fregato? Refridgerator?

Jack of Lies?

Posted by: Traveller 1 May 2012 - 10:09 AM
Something like:'He did it to me! He did it to me again!'
From 'Jack in the box'?
doh.gif

QUOTE (Traveller @ 2 May 2012 - 06:12 AM)
Something like:'He did it to me! He did it to me again!'
From 'Jack in the box'?
doh.gif

Nice! laugh.gif It's the right answer,
right episode and right "original quote"!

For MacGyverGod:
"Fregato" can be translated as something like" cheated"or "fooled".

Posted by: Traveller 1 May 2012 - 12:00 PM
Hey! I know a bit of Italian! happy_dance.gif
To tell you the truth, my guess was that 'di nuovo' could mean 'again'.
That, in combination with twice the same sentence, gave me the idea.

Posted by: Traveller 1 May 2012 - 02:30 PM
'You can tell a lot about someone by the things he keeps on his desk – provided you can get to his desk.'

Yes, "di nuovo" means "again", correct!

About the "quote":

THE ERASER!

I am sure. harhar.gif

Posted by: Traveller 2 May 2012 - 05:23 AM
And you are right biggrin.gif

Posted by: cirubit 2 May 2012 - 08:56 AM
So it's my turn now :

"I'm gonna get you out of here."

Posted by: Traveller 2 May 2012 - 11:32 AM
Of course I could say that it's from the Gambit in 'Trumbo's World', but then you are probably gonna say that your 'I'm gonna get you out of here' is another one than mine, from another episode.
So I won't even try. tongue.gif

Posted by: cirubit 2 May 2012 - 12:27 PM
QUOTE (Traveller @ 3 May 2012 - 07:35 AM)

Oh yes, my "quote" was from another episode...

I did not remembered your quote was in the opening gambit of "TRUMBO'S WORLD"...

Posted by: Traveller 2 May 2012 - 12:51 PM
See? The thing is, he has said it more than once. I don't know if that kind of quotes is the best to choose from. But, hey, it's your call.

Posted by: cirubit 3 May 2012 - 05:26 AM
The problem is that in italian, the same phrase, in the two differents episodes, is a little bit different because we know if is adressed to a woman, man or more persons.
I don't thought about this when I chose the quote.

So now, what we gonna do?

Will I chose another quote?

Posted by: Traveller 3 May 2012 - 05:41 AM
Wow. I love that. It's quite interesting, language-wise, and I see what you mean. So why not give the quote in Italian again? We could at least (try to) see if it is adressed to a woman or a man. That way we can make a choice – and learn some more Italian in the process biggrin.gif

Or, in the meantime, someone else, let's say MacGyverGod, has found the right answer wink.gif

Posted by: cirubit 3 May 2012 - 09:51 AM
Ok, great!

Maybe in this case we don't have differences between man or woman, I made a mess ( it depends on the translation), but in Italian we know if "you" ( tu ) means one man or "you" ( voi) means more people.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 3 May 2012 - 11:12 AM
If it's my turn than...

'I'd like to keep an open mind, but sometimes you just gotta have a little faith.'

Posted by: Traveller 3 May 2012 - 11:47 AM
huh.gif
Uh, where's the answer to Cirubit's quote?

Posted by: cirubit 3 May 2012 - 12:25 PM
What a mess! It's my fault I guess...

Anyway my quote was in THE ESCAPE, and it is a little different than Traveler's quote bucause in "THE TRUMBO'S WORD" Mac say :

"I've come to get you out of here"

And also the italian translation is different .

I have checked it out.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 3 May 2012 - 12:35 PM
Appears to be some kind of a mix-up. I think I misunderstood a couple of things.

QUOTE
Or, in the meantime, someone else, let's say MacGyverGod, has found the right answer

This was a joke, right?

But now Cirubit gave away the answer. doh.gif

Sorry, guys. It just ain't my week. unsure.gif

Posted by: Traveller 3 May 2012 - 01:03 PM
Nope. I'm the one who messed up, after having assumed my answer was right. Cirubit was right, I was wrong. Guess I got a little cocky.
So: sorry! blush.gif

Shall we continue with MacGyverGod's quote?

Posted by: cirubit 3 May 2012 - 01:04 PM
Anyway, my answer for the last "quote" of MacGyverGod:

"MURDERER'S SKY" ?

I am pretty sure...

Posted by: MacGyverGod 4 May 2012 - 12:36 AM
And I'm pretty sure you're wrong. biggrin.gif

Posted by: cirubit 4 May 2012 - 05:52 AM
Uh ,really??
I remember something like this quote in "the murderer's sky", when the kid is trying to save his grandfather , in the hospital , with a sort of Chinese technique...

I will think again...

Posted by: Traveller 4 May 2012 - 06:26 AM
.. and I hear the quote singing around in my head, see flashes of scenes, but still not the right one.
You've picked a nice one, M'God hmm.bmp

Posted by: MacGyverGod 4 May 2012 - 06:41 AM
Thanks. It was in mind for a few days.

Posted by: Traveller 4 May 2012 - 07:36 AM
Welcome – but I'd rather come up with the right answer. Aaargh! blowup.gif

Posted by: MacGyverGod 5 May 2012 - 02:23 PM
Tip: Mac needs a cure.

Posted by: cirubit 5 May 2012 - 11:14 PM
"NIGHTMARES"?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 6 May 2012 - 01:06 AM
Nope.

Posted by: Traveller 6 May 2012 - 02:55 AM
Thanks for the hint. It's 'Walking Dead'.

Posted by: cirubit 6 May 2012 - 02:56 AM
"HUMANITY"?

Posted by: Traveller 6 May 2012 - 03:38 AM
Hey, Cirubit! Look: harhar.gif

Posted by: cirubit 6 May 2012 - 04:53 AM
Ok, your "hint" put me on a wrong way...

Traveller is right. You're good with later episodes.

QUOTE (MacGyverGod @ 7 May 2012 - 04:33 AM)

WALKING DEAD?

I never would have guessed, I prefer the firts seasons. doh.gif

Posted by: Traveller 6 May 2012 - 08:54 AM
I like this episode. I like Mama Lorraine. She is so honest in her beliefs. It would have been great to see more of her.

So you like earlier seasons better, eh, C? Then I'll try to accommodate you – in a little while. Gotta do some other things first.
Later!

Posted by: cirubit 6 May 2012 - 09:53 AM
I can't wait,Traveller boxing.gif

So, if I don't win the next challenge then I'll be in trouble, after what I said... headbutt.gif

Posted by: cirubit 7 May 2012 - 12:26 AM
Oh right, I try:

"HELLFIRE"?

Posted by: Traveller 7 May 2012 - 04:58 AM
Try again.

Posted by: cirubit 7 May 2012 - 01:02 PM
You bet!!!!

Posted by: cirubit 9 May 2012 - 12:25 AM
It seems too hard for me... hmm.bmp
can you give me a little hint? blink.gif

Posted by: Traveller 9 May 2012 - 02:58 AM
Here's another quote from the same episode.
"Well, you're just taking all the fun out of this job.'
Easy enough?

Posted by: cirubit 9 May 2012 - 03:10 AM
"LOST LOVE"?

Posted by: Traveller 9 May 2012 - 03:36 AM
And I was thinking this was a dead giveaway.
You'll have to go back to earlier seasons.

Posted by: cirubit 9 May 2012 - 12:43 PM
Ma cazzo!!!

WTF!!

Ehm... Sorry...

I must start again. doh.gif

Give me one more day.

Ma porca pu..ana (Holy s..t)

As usual it was one of my first choice!

I had already in my hand the dvd for check it but I didn't.

THE PILOT of course!!!

It was very, very, very easy! headbutt.gif headbutt.gif headbutt.gif

Anyway I asked one more day to think about it, not one more hint.

Thank you anyway, Traveller.

(Sorry for swearing)

I'd even say it's too easy happy.gif
'Obsessed'

Yes, it's right of course.

It's again your turn now..

Posted by: Traveller 10 May 2012 - 02:07 PM
Well, since nobody else is playing..
Anyway, here's the next one:
'It's a little recipe I use in emergencies.'

Posted by: cirubit 10 May 2012 - 11:59 PM
"LAST STAND"

I'm sure in this episode Mac says something similar...

Posted by: Traveller 11 May 2012 - 12:01 AM
Correct answer, Cirubit!

Posted by: cirubit 12 May 2012 - 12:31 AM
Ok, here we go with the next one:

"Well, as they say, it's all in the wrist."

GX-1.

Posted by: cirubit 12 May 2012 - 01:30 AM

Yes, it's correct.

I must find a very hard one the next time.

'Will everybody just settle down?'

It's a matter of betrayal and the military is involved.

Posted by: Traveller 15 May 2012 - 02:14 PM

How about 'Fraternity of thieves'?

Posted by: MacGyverGod 15 May 2012 - 02:45 PM

Yes, your answer is correct.

Posted by: cirubit 17 May 2012 - 05:11 AM

Okay, on to the next one. I'll try to find a real mean one tongue.gif

Posted by: Traveller 18 May 2012 - 02:39 PM
'You heard what he said. Be nice.'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 19 May 2012 - 02:09 AM
The Escape?

Posted by: Traveller 19 May 2012 - 02:22 AM
No. In this scene Mac ís trying to escape, though.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 19 May 2012 - 08:55 AM
The Wish Child.

Posted by: Traveller 19 May 2012 - 09:05 AM
Correct! biggrin.gif

Posted by: cirubit 19 May 2012 - 12:00 PM
And what is this particular scene? I can't focalize it.

Posted by: Traveller 19 May 2012 - 12:42 PM
Mac has taken Paul away from Stone's place, to have a 'man to man' talk. They hide in an alley, and Paul tells Mac that Stone is his friend, although Mac tries to convince him otherwise. When the bully who knocked MacGyver out earlier, finds Mac and the boy, Paul goes with him, assuring Mac they won't harm him (Paul). While Paul walks away, the bad guy points a gun at Mac, and Mac says: 'You heard what he said. Be nice.'

Posted by: MacGyverGod 19 May 2012 - 03:50 PM
'You look..., you look good.'

Posted by: Makedde 20 May 2012 - 02:41 AM

Posted by: MacGyverGod 20 May 2012 - 08:39 AM
No, it's not Friends.

Posted by: Traveller 21 May 2012 - 03:35 AM
Mac says it to Earl Dent in the Chicken Habit, in 'High Control'. Funny little scene.

Posted by: MacGyverGod 21 May 2012 - 01:58 PM
Correct Traveller.
