CBS really seems to hate MacGyver fans. They’ve pre-scheduled “Celebrity Undercover Boss” for Fridays 8pm, “Hawaii Five-0″ for Fridays 9pm and “Blue Bloods” for Fridays 10pm all up until either August 31 or September 7.

Not sure if it's going to change before the Season 3 Premiere, but there are no pre-scheduled reruns for MacGyver at all so far.

And they're probably gonna cheat us on the season 2 dvd. I'm not an angry person, but I have nothing nice to say about these guys.

Saturdays are filled with Reruns of other shows so far - Ransom, 48 Hours or Comedies and Sitcoms.

Also, on Saturdays, the reruns of S1 usually made half as much in ratings and audience than when airing on Fridays... *sigh*

I don't know. Maybe CBS doesn't deem shows worthy to have reruns if they're "underperforming" (the Reboot did lose in ratings last season). Or - that's what I believe - they again use the Reboot to get people to get that free-month-trial (or more) at CBS All Access.

Good news: They scrapped all the pre-scheduled episodes of "Celebrity Undercover Boss" up to August 31, including the 4 reruns in July.

Bad news: They put a new show into the timeslot that will premiere on July 13.

So even if they have no reruns, the schedule is filled until at least the end of August.

So IF they decide on MacGyver reruns, it won't be more than 2 or 3 episods - if any at all.

CBS hates MacGyver fans. I don't know why. They just do.

They're keeping up the tradition which goes right back to the original.

This is why I'm glad I don't have regular TV and just watch episodes as they are released to the website. lol I would be incredibly annoyed.

I would like to see the reboot on Netflix though. That would be nice. lol Maybe after the remaster of the original, it will return?

It's definitely puzzling.

I can understand that Friday is a good timeslot for Summer Shows and Reality Shows. But why only 8pm? Why do H50 and BB get reruns, but MacGyver doesn't?

Lenkov's Summer Show "Salvation" had 3.35 millions live viewers (with a 0.52 demo) last season. Season 2 just premiered this week to 3.36 millions with a demo of 0.4. I doubt it does that much better in DVR and the ratings will probably drop further during the Season-run of 13 episodes. Why not put that show on Fridays 8pm?

I don't have a screenshot, but they had some new episodes for "Celebrity Undercover Boss" scheduled, not just reruns. That show is probably not that cheap to produce, yet they decided to drop the rest in favor of this new show "Whistleblower" which probably won't be such a ratings hit either.

At this point, even MacGyver reruns would do better. And H50 would probably profit from the Reboot as the 8pm lead-in as well. (MacGyver had less viewers and ratings than H50 and BB reruns, but H50 did a lot better in rerun ratings last year with the Reboot airing at 8pm.)

AND these reruns don't cost anything anymore since the episodes are all ready to air. There are so many reruns at the moment on CBS (practically the whole schedule besides Big Brother and CUB recently), some reruns of MacGyver wouldn't annoy anyone.

No one important anyway. Yes, reboot haters, I said that, deal with it.

This is how I look at it... it's a waste of time and energy to hate on something or someone simply because it doesn't live up to a personal standard. I have my gripes, but I don't hate the reboot. In fact, what I do like about the reboot outweighs my gripes.

I just tend to complain a lot... XD

2 Reruns in September. Then 3 Episodes of Season 3 pre-scheduled so far. The Pre-schedule is usually about 8-10 weeks ahead.

In the gag reels for Knight Rider the Hoff calls the marks for A, B and C cameras so I think it's been normal to use 3 cameras since...like always.

That's a very cool find!

Just noticed that CBS dropped one of the scheduled MacGyver reruns - plus all reruns of "Hawaii Five-0" initially scheduled. They put on a new game show with Kevin Hart on 8pm (that aired on Wednesdays for the first 2 episodes) and shoved "Whistleblower" to 9pm. Lucky "Blue Bloods" reruns get to stay at 10pm.

So if the schedule stays, we'll get ONE! single rerun before the Season 3 premiere. I'm assuming they will put up a rerun of the Season 2 Finale - unless they'll air one of the few Season 1 episodes that never had a rerun before.

Also seems a bit unfair to rerun 10 out of the first 15 episodes of H50 but not the season finale - though I don't know if it ended on a cliffhanger or not.
