Mostly, I'm not sure how I'd even get enough money by the time Comic Con came around. Or how much I'd need.

Yep, got my pop in the mail today.

I'm holding back on selling it just yet, though. Even if I can't make it to Comic Con in November, I might be able to meet them someday, and I want to keep this handy, just in case.

I bought one at Target this week. I never completely gotten the appeal of Funkos. I was looking for something else and was surprised to see it. It was the only one in the store and grabbed it. There is so little stuff for the original show. It’s actually really well done.

I'm not really a FunkoPop person either. I have two, currently... MacGyver and Leon Kennedy from Resident Evil 4. I *may* get Sam and Dean Winchester, but... eh... lol

The outfit they picked for him screams Season 4 to me than any other season. Probably because it's my favorite season. XD

I wasn’t really either - my first three were given to me, but all perfectly nailed my favs - Han Solo, 10th Doctor, and Ash from Evil Dead. MacGyver is the first one I bought myself, but the longevity of my fandom meant he definitely should be with my few others lol. I kind of like having a select few.

haha it does sound like that - I'm not sure what anyone does with them to be honest, I don't usually collect things and leave in packaging, except for these, they seem to belong in the box lol

I think these are simply for collection purposes. I call them "dust collectors". lol

Kinda reminds me a bit of the Beanie Baby craze back 20 years ago. The store I worked at was standing room only at the time, they were that popular.

But it gives people something to collect. I pick up select items, but I'm generally pretty picky. If it's MacGyver related, I'm gonna get it since MacGyver stuff is so rare. If you think that's amazing, just imagine if Hot Toys did a figure. Hot Toys are extremely detailed and realistic... and expensive. Those usually run about $300.

Long story short, I had put money down on one at Game Stop but they never called me. I called them out on it and not only did I get my money back, I got my figure for FREE.
