Richard Dean Anderson - Meet the Man Vancouver 5-8th August 2010

From 5th – 8th August 2010, we are thrilled to bring you “Meet the Man (MTM)”. This will be Richard Dean Andersons’ first one man event. The event will kick off on Thursday 5th August with an exclusive cocktail party for 80 lucky Charmed Pass holders. These optional extra ticket upgrades are highly sought after and allow for entry to the cocktail party dinner which Richard will attend and circulate the tables. For all attendees there will then follow three full days of activities. The ticket price will include all the main hall activities as well as one in person autograph from Richard and a professionally taken photograph opportunity for every attendee. The format for the Event will be similar to Amanda’s GABIT AT Events, with the number of attendees limited to around 350 only.

This group was involved with running Avalon, and they were in charge of running RDA's photo and autograph sessions at Gatecon (Becky sat next to him at the autograph table ~sigh~ ), so he's gotten to know these folks well.

And they do things right, if you're lucky enough to get a ticket.

I don't know if the news has made it to this board, but I just wanted to remind everyone about the fan video - litteraly a video about his fans - that will be personally handed to RDA at MTM this August.

The video is put together by two people from the RDAnderson fan forum and the organizers of MTM will personally hand RDA a copy of it for him to view and keep.

What the video is about is his fans from all around the world. ANYONE can participate. All you have to do is send a phot of yourself or something that means a lot to you to be included in the video.

The soundtrack for this is "Smile" by Uncle Kracker.

The deadline is June 1st, so you have a little over a week to get your photos in.

3 days to go before the photo submission dealine for the MTM fan video.

The vid-makers have come up with some wonderful ideas and it promises to be an AMAZING vid.

I know time is getting short, but I wanted to let you guys know I have a friend who has two tickets left. Since Gabit no longer has a waiting list for people who wish to attend, ticketholders are allowed to sell theirs privately. If you're interested please send an email to Ice-cream@gmx.net, asap!

People are really hurting moneywise -- there seem to be a fair number of folks who bought tickets when they first went on sale, and now can't afford the travel or lodging costs and are trying to sell their tickets. I feel for them -- I'm really glad that I can go myself!
