MacGyver: <cringing> How hard did he hit his head? He might have a concussion. <worried>

Pete: <wry> Seems like the normal Jack Dalton to me.

Robot: <shiny red eyes widen> Today is my birthday?!

Benny: <following along with Jack> Sure! Did you forget your own birthday? You must be working too hard!

Jack: Turn on the radio!! See if there are any good tunes!

Robot: <switches the radio on and "Everything Is Awesome" begins to play. Its eyes glaze over as its programming takes over and it mechanically begins to dance> This is my jam!

Murdoc: He sounds like a stray cat yowling at the fence. Someone shut him up!

Benny: <grabs one of Batman's Batarangs and throws it at the button that opens the gate. It flashes green> Hey, first try! <beams>

MacGyver: That's true. We'll have to leave him here with the spaceship, and we'll have to have someone else stay behind to watch him. It'll be good to have someone on standby here anyway, just in case we need to make a fast getaway.

Jack: Did you know that once, I made the Kessel Run in twelve parsecs?

Vitruvius: <points to Murdoc with his staff> I vote that we leave him here.

I actually have to confess, the idea about Jack and the apple wasn't completely my invention. I saw a crossover between Dreamworks Dragons and Dreamworks Rise of the Guardians on pinterest, and in it, one of the characters went a little nuts and yelled, "People have skin, and potatoes have skin. SO WE ARE ALL POTATOES!" I just reworded it for this story.

JACK: *singing* Let it GOOOOOOOOOO!!!
MURDOC: *singing back* Hold it back a little more!

Benny: <glances at Metalbeard while Wyldstyle follows Batman> Hey, Metalbeard? Are you sure you're gonna fit through here?

I'm not sure if we should keep writing Wyldstyle before her lines or switch to Lucy now that her real name has been revealed.

I think it'd be okay to stick with Wyldstyle, since in the subtitle captions and in all the video games, she continues to be listed as Wyldstyle. Even on her toy packaging, she's only referred to as Wyldstyle, not as Lucy. Maybe since her real name seems to kind of an intimate subject for her, it's something that she'd only share with people she's close to. It looks like most of her friends and the MasterBuilders already know her as Wyldstyle, so she'd probably keep that on as a nickname just to keep things simple.

And about Murdoc hugging Mac: I know, right?! That mental image just cracked me up so bad, and as soon as I read what you'd written I couldn't pass that up!

Murdoc: It is my real name, as a matter of fact, but I hardly think you're one to judge, Batman. How much more obvious can you get? Absolutely no finesse or subtlety there at all.

ROBOTS: *point gun at Emmet, Murdoc, and Batman*

MURDOC: *sighs* So much for heroism. *manages a weak smile*

EMMET: Vitruvius! No!
PENNY: No! *starts sobbing*

*The whole group, even Batman and Murdoc fight back tears as the robots lead them away*

MURDOC: SHUT UP!
LORD BUSINESS: Eh? What, I can't help it if I sound like you! Guess you're no better than me!
MURDOC: *winces as those words sink in*
LORD BUSINESS: Robots, bring me he sword of Exact-Zero!

That suggestion you made, about making a top tens list for what Murdoc would say in response to fanfiction, I'm planning to make a list in the theme of what Murdoc would say in response to THIS story, but I can't type it out until this is done. Can you imagine his response to the scenes where we've made fun of him? MURDOC: But I'm so much more MACHO then you made me out to be, Dragondog! But I like the punching you made me do, Sanguine! Of course I would do that if I were singing inside a couch!"

*back at the ship where Pete and Jack are*
PETE: *sighs, checks his watch, and sighs again*
JACK: Can you PLEASE untie me?
PETE: No, Jack. We've been over this!
JACK: Well, I'm BORED!
PETE: If I put on some music, will you shut up?
JACK: Maybe. *babbles on*
PETE: *turns the radio on* Some band called "Fall Out Boy".
JACK: *starts singing along to the radio* I'll be the guard dog of your fever dreams!
PETE: Jack, stop! You sing like a dying walrus!
JACK: *breaks out of his ties* Immortals! Immortals! *jumps around*
PETE: JAAAAACK!
JACK: Live with me forever now! *tackles Pete to the ground and lands on top of him* You pull the blackout curtains down!
PETE: Ooof! JACK!
JACK: Cause we could be Immortals! *accidentally hit his head on the floor* Oooof... What just happened? *slowly remembers everything he did while he was loopy* Oh! My! GOSH!
PETE: Ugh... Well, if you're feeling all right, I guess I'll radio MacGyver and see if he needs help. *Pulls out the radio just in time to hear Lord Business's speeches and Vitruvius's death* Oh no...
JACK: Pete, we need to go! Mac needs us! Sit in the seat, I'll fly us out of here!
PETE: Jack NO! Don't!
JACK: Pete, I'm the only one who knows how to fly this thing! TRUST me!
PETE: Why?
JACK: Okay, poor word choice mi amigo. But Mac needs us, and he's our best friend!
PETE: *reluctantly realizes Jack is right* Okay... But if we die, it's YOUR fault for flying us into something.
JACK: What if we die after we land?
PETE: Then it's not your fault, okay? Look, just don't sing anymore, okay?
JACK: I won't if you won't.
PETE: Deal.
JACK: *starts the engine after Pete sits down* I promise you won't regret this!
PETE: I already do... *sighs* but compared to losing MacGyver forever, it isn't even a contest. I'll fly with you, even if your already making me nauseous!
JACK: Ah, come on! we haven't even left the ground yet!
PETE: That's what worries me!
JACK: *turns up the radio, "Immortals" still playing* Here we go!

*back where Emmet and the others are*
LORD BUSINESS: *now with the Xacto razor* Must be weird, one minute you're the most special person in the universe. The next, you're nobody. *cuts the Piece of Resistance from Emmet's back* Oh, I have a nice spot for this in my Relic Room. *throws it out the window* Uh-oh! My mistake! There it goes!
WYLDSTYLE: NO!
LORD BUSINESS: Good-bye forever! Well, I guess there's only one thing left to do! *turns to his robots* Release the Kragle! Computer?
COMPUTER: Yes, sir.
LORD BUSINESS: Set the electric shocker to one hundred Mississippi.
COMPUTER: No problem.
LORD BUSINESS: Then terminate everyone.
COMPUTER: Already on it.
MACGYVER: I really hate that thing.
LORD BUSINESS: Emmet, that should give you time to witness the first location to be Kragled. Your home town!
EMMET: NO!
LORD BUSINESS: *gets into te Kragle device* Unfortunately, Bad Cop, I'm going to have to leave you here to die.
BAD COP: What? *gets surrounded by robots* Sir I-
LORD BUSINESS: It's nothing personal, just business. Lord Business! Ciao! *leaves as the computer starts counting down*
COMPUTER: Beginning zapping termination in ninety-nine Mississippi. Ninety-eight Mississippi. Ninety-seven Mississippi. And so on.
MURDOC: I fight MacGyver over and over again. I've been crushed by rubble, blown up, fallen of a cliff, shot, drowned, and more... and THIS is how I die?!
BATMAN: Didn't you say this couldn't be real because you were riding in a boat made of children's building blocks?
MURDOC: *glares at Batman so harshly that he instantly shuts up* I'M HAVING A MOMENT!
PENNY: *cries softly* MacGyver? Wyldstyle? Murdoc? Does ANYBODY have a plan to get us out of here?

<MacGyver is right about to open his mouth when all of a sudden, the wall is smashed open>

Jack: <has just crashed the spaceship through into the room> Mac! You okay? Pete and I just ran over a couple dozen robots!

Pete: <pale> I think I might be sick.

MacGyver: Jack! I don't believe it! This is perfect timing!

Penny: Pete! Jack! Oh, we're so glad to see you!

Murdoc: Penny, get into the spaceship. MacGyver and I will handle the electric death trap.

<MacGyver stares at Murdoc>

Murdoc: <glares at him, daring to say anything> Go on. There's no need for everyone to die when we have an escape route.

Emmet: <starting to move the battery towards the broken window> Lucy! Go with them! You need to run!

Wyldstyle: No! Emmet!

Emmet: You have to save Bricksburg! You have to get out of here! <sad> I'm not the Special. I never was. And to think for a moment, I thought I might be.

<Ghost Vitruvius appears>

Murdoc: No, we haven't got time for this. MacGyver, we can disconnect the power cables, can't we? Or just shoot the computer? I've had just about enough of this insanity.

MacGyver: <reaches into his pocket for his knife> Yeah. Yeah, we can stop this. <glances back at the others> But Emmet's right. Everybody onto the spaceship! Jack, you'll get them all to safety. If we don't make it out of this---either way, you've got to find a way to stop that doomsday machine!

Jack: Mac, we can't leave without you!

Murdoc: You have to! Now go!

Emmet: <has finished speaking with Ghost Vitruvius and looks back to Wyldstyle> Lucy! It's your turn to be the hero.

Wyldstyle: NO!!!

Emmet: See you later, alligator.
