We know what MacGyver carries in his pockets every day. What's your Every Day Carry? Take a picture and show us what you carry on a daily basis... and what you carry it in. |

The contents of my pocket a few days ago... I always have my ipod and I usually don't have as many paperclips. Other than that it doesn't really change much. |

What I carry in my purse: (Left to right, top to bottom: wallet [paperclips are in the wallet], antibacterial, pen, MP3 player, combination hairbrush/compact [see next pic], pocket knife) My watch - left wrist Paracord bracelet - right wrist Pocket knife - right hip pocket And my purse. I have two dog whistles, house key, my library card, and petperks card clipped to it with a mini carabiner. |

Since we have quite a few new members, I thought this was a thread that might be worth bumping up for others to see and possibly contribute to. |

Okay, cross-post from the watch thread: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8080172@N05/12385938054/ My EDC: Victorinox Huntsman, cleaning tissue for (sun)glasses, antiseptic wipe, wallet with a paperclip, Moleksine, Lamy Safari, iPhone 3GS, Orient Deep, key on snap hook with leather string |

Love that Orient watch! This is me. Sorry for the bad quality pic. Here of course is my Tinker, Timex, iPhone 4S & my card holder. Hate carrying cash! |

I carry just about the same things as everyone else, minus the watch. Here is what I have with me at all times- http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/StuPrice/media/126_1322_zpsb2dae615.jpg.html My Spartan SAK, Doomsday prepper kit, and my HTC One Android. Here are some better pics of my prepper kit...this is what inside the tin looks like- http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/StuPrice/media/126_1323_zpse14492f8.jpg.html And this is the list on the back of the tin of whats in it http://s1298.photobucket.com/user/StuPrice/media/126_1326_zpsa0a88d23.jpg.html I saw it and I was like, Mac would be proud |
Posted by: denizen 25 March 2014 - 09:54 PM |
You got that right! Mac would would probably hire you as his sidekick! |
Posted by: MacAbigail 26 March 2014 - 02:47 AM |
Hahaha. That would be cool. I'd end up giving the tin to Mac though, because if you look at the contents and the list of contents.....you'll see I haven't actually used anything in it yet!! Mac would be all over it, he could probably make a bomb with just the contents of the tin!! |
Posted by: denizen 26 March 2014 - 03:45 AM |
You're probably right! |
Posted by: Jediferret 26 March 2014 - 08:23 AM |
I could see him using it to make a nuclear reactor for Challengers. XD Mac: I need more duct tape. Lots and LOTS of duct tape. |
Posted by: YopeGyver 26 March 2014 - 01:12 PM |
That's really cool, Abigail! Haha, I agree with the others. |

This is what I always curry with me. In my pockets: Knife, phone, earphones, lip balsam, keys, bike keys and tissues In my purse: wallet, painkillers, chewing gum, and a little extra bag + lockmelt at winter and water bottle at summer And at my wrist 3 those things what you use to get your hair to ponytail.. is it hair tie? |

Cool! |

I forgot to mention, the hairbrush/compact also has a mini sewing kit behind the mirror. Very handy. I've also begun carrying a small notebook with me in my purse for notes for fanfics or sketching. |

I don't have a picture but I carry my wallet in my left pocket and in my right pocket, cellphone, SAK and keys. |

This isn't mine, but I just found this picture while searching for something else and thought it was quite cool and very MacGyverish. |

Nice watch. Strange looking knife. |

I've managed to reduce my EDC kit down quite a lot as part of my ongoing de-cluttering efforts. These are the items I carry every day... Victorinox "Hiker" Swiss Army Knife. Samsung J2 Smart phone. Nylon wallet phone case. (I only need to carry 3 cards... money, fuel/supermarket loyalty card, Drivers license). Keys with micro-flashlight. Citizen 'Promaster' Dive watch - with Ecodrive (power cell charged by light) so never needs battery replacement. Survival bracelet (This tends to get worn more on week-ends rather than during the week - not a lot of need for one in an office) |

Ya know, I've seen those survival bracelets before and I had no idea that was what it was for until today. I just though it was a guy trend or something. I didn't know it had actual uses. Well now... I learn something new everyday. XD |

If you look on etsy (amongst other places), people are selling them right left and center. I've made a few myself and they have so many patterns and colour combinations you can use. My EDC kit involves something that Mac wouldn't cary, so don't want to get banned |

Here's mine. It varies somewhat SAK wise, but the rest is pretty much edc. |

Nice carry! Does anyone know where I can pick up one of the Timex Camper watches? Mine died a premature death and I can't find one. |
Posted by: MacGyverOnline 29 December 2018 - 08:56 PM |
The original is still available on Amazon along with a newer version: https://amzn.to/2RiTmHZ And there's the high quality new version that Timex brought out a while back... looks just like the original except it's metal and proper water proof... so built to last. That seems to only be available from Timex web site though. |

My friends EDC from middle school(2012). She gave me her cold backpack to send to Venezuela. This is what was left inside. |
