Macs shirt changes color when he moves from his balcony to inside his appartment.

Hi again,

I'm really glad you posted this scene. I've been wondering the same thing. How does Mac change his shirt so fast when he walks from the balcony, and into the kitchen to demonstrate that robot to his maid. He must be a fast dresser! lol Everytime I see that, I think it's amazing that he was able to change out of his yellow Minnesota sweatshirt, and into that other shirt so fast. There must have been a time lag between the time he was looking out over his balcony and when he came back inside. That's the only thing I can figure out. But he definitely made a really quick change! wink.gif Wish I could dress that fast! lol Either that, or he had that grey shirt on under his sweat shirt. That's another possibility.

Thanks again for posting this scene. smile.gif

Take Care,
Nancy

I don't know if this is a nit-pick: why there was oxygen going through the seal when Charlie sticked a needle through but not when Mac sticked a much-thicker glass tube?

Presumably, the difference is that Charlie didn't try to avoid letting air into the bomb. When he probed the bomb, he didn't maintain the vacuum seal.

Charlie warned Mac about it just before he died, so Mac knew to be careful to keep the seal tight around the glass tube he used. cool.jpg

um.. how do you know there wasn't?

Remember MacGyver removed the powder from the tray, so there was no longer a physical indication of air moving in (the dust wasn't there to blow around any more), but I would assume the air still rushed in when MacGyver pulled that tube out.

plot hole- if the bombs were placed when the ship was in dry dock last month, how would Viking know that there wouldnt be any rescue ships in the area a month later or there would be a typhoon that would prevent putting the passengers in lifeboats? Viking would have no way to expect that the passengers wouldnt be removed from the ship.

cruise ships at top speeds go 27-29 mph. since the typhoon was stated to me 200 miles across and the bombs dont detonate for 12 hrs ( 10 1/2 from the first call from viking and figure 2 hrs to get mac and charlie and a plan together) why wouldnt the ship steam as close to land and rescue ships or as far away from the storm as possible and then put the passengers on lifeboats? 12hrs at top speed puts them 250mls from thier current location.

why would you leave the passengers on the cruise ship until ten seconds before the bomb detonates? The weather looks pretty good both before and after the bomb is supposed to go off, and even if there is a typhoon coming the passengers have a better chance of surviving a storm if you put them in a lifeboat 1hr prior than waiting for a bomb going off and blowing up the ship.

when mac is removing the phospurus from the dish just after he says"Im extracting the chemical now" there is a cutback shot of him while he is still inserting the tube. you can tell this was an earlier shot because the dish is front and center in the frame and the tube that is supposed to be currently extracting the powder is no where in site and the dish is still full of phospurus.

when mack is told that viking is not going to give them the solution he gets up and you can see he is still wearing the caribiners and bright yellow cargo rope he used to come onto the ship from the helicopter, however in the previous on deck scene where they discover the 3rd bomb he is not wearing them. These scenes were probably shot out of order.

More an observation than a problem with the episode...

But when Mac opens the fridge with his robot thing, those eggs are extremely white - not usual for eggs, which are usually an off white color. They don't look like they've been sitting in bleach, put it that way.
They also looked a little large to be chicken eggs?

must have been New Zealand eggs. laugh.gif We get large white (pure white) eggs from some breeds hens as well as the normal brown eggs and a variety of sizes.
